All right. Good morning, everyone. Welcome to the regular meeting of the City of Charlestown Board of Public Works. Today is July 2nd, 2026. It is 10 a.m. This meeting is being live streamed by Under Protection Multimedia. We'll begin our meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. The records show that all members are present as well as Deputy Clerk Treasurer Lacey Gammons and our attorney Perry McCall is with us as well. We have an agenda that's been provided. I need to make one amendment and add item D under new business and this is the general service agreement with Todd Anderson. A general service agreement with Todd Anderson. With that, I would entertain a motion to approve. I'll make that motion. I'll second. Motion by Ernie Thompson, second by Maggie Wild. Any other questions or edits? All in favor say aye. Aye. Aye. Any opposed? That's unanimous. We have our standing business which includes the approval of our minutes from our meeting on the 18th of June. Our current claims that our payroll allowance docket from, I'll make sure I have the date right. Sometimes these are wrong on the agenda. june 7th to june 28th it's not loading on the pdf or something so i'm assuming that's correct yes okay thank you um all are taking a motion motion by maggie wilde secretary thompson any questions or edits all in favor say aye aye aye any opposed that's unanimous i don't see anyone signed up for public comment no old business will go straight into new business I don't think that is correct. Sorry. I don't think that we're working on our UDO. I think that that must be copied from an old agenda. I think instead, my bad, I just now looked at it and saw that. What that should be, item A, should be agreement for professional services with, I don't know what that is. Oh, it is it, I'm sorry. Sorry, y'all.

Let's start all over and say the pledge. I'm going to blame it on the heat.

4:07 – 5:47Speaker 4

I'm going to blame it on the heat. No, I really got confused because Sally was here, and I thought we were doing the CCMG thing, and we already did that. And I was like, every time I see UDO, I expect Tony Jackson to be here, and Tony's not here. I'm like, why is this on here? This is correct. He's not jerking me around. This is actually correct. So a while back we had done, we found out that although we had approved the funding for the Unified Development Ordinance update with Taylor Seeker Williams Design Group, we had not actually approved the agreement for professional services. So that's what this is, is catching up on that agreement for professional services. So this is being funded out of the building commissioner's office with his fund. They're in the process of updating our unified development ordinance, which is our zoning code. And we just needed to come in and ratify this agreement for professional services. As it went out of the packet, Perry, did you get a chance to review that? Yes. All right. Any questions or any issues with it? motion to approve motion barney thompson second by mighty wild any other questions sorry for the confusion all in favor say aye aye any opposed all right that is unanimous my apologies we did we receive any we received no bids correct Lacey, are you thinking? We did not. I did not receive anything. No, you don't need that.

So, item B, RFP opening for an animated lecture will receive no responses to that. So, we will recycle back around on that and see what our next options will be. We did have a couple of sanitation charge-offs in the amount of $52.44. Sanitation charge-offs in the amount of $52.44. Do you need a motion to approve? I'll make that motion. Motion by Maggie Weil. I'll second. Second by Ernie Thompson. I'll put mine in there too. Nope. Any questions? No. All in favor say aye. Aye. Aye. Any opposed? That's unanimous. And then Carrie is going to present the item that we added, the General Service Agreement with Tom Anderson. Good morning, Carrie. Good morning. You have your stuff together better than I do this morning. Let's try.
