Board of Public Works - Regular Meeting

All right. Good morning, everyone. Welcome to the regular meeting of the City of Charlestown Board of Public Works. Today is July 2nd, 2026. It is 10 a.m. This meeting is being live streamed by Under Protection Multimedia. We'll begin our meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance. The records show that all members are present as well as Deputy Clerk Treasurer Lacey Gammons and our attorney Perry McCall is with us as well. We have an agenda that's been provided. I need to make one amendment and add item D under new business and this is the general service agreement with Todd Anderson. A general service agreement with Todd Anderson. So a while back we had done, we found out that although we had approved the funding for the Unified Development Ordinance update with Taylor Seeker Williams Design Group, we had not actually approved the agreement for professional services. So that's what this is, is catching up on that agreement for professional services. So this is being funded out of the building commissioner's office with his fund. They're in the process of updating our unified development ordinance, which is our zoning code. And we just needed to come in and ratify this agreement for professional services. As it went out of the packet, Perry, did you get a chance to review that? Yes. All right. So I have a contract here. It's for the Solid Rocket Boosters. They will be performing on the gazebo for our Music in the Parks on July 24th. I have their contract, their W-9, their insurance waiver. The cost for them is $1,000. it comes out oh this was sponsored all these responses yes so all of our music in the parks this year um was sponsored by the elite leaguer so everything is covered by them for all of them okay we're doing four this year awesome do we need a motion to approve i'll make that motion all right thompson makes a second maybe wild seconds any questions all in favor say aye aye any opposed
