Hey, I'm going to take pro call. Daisy here. Marty here. Shane here.
Harold here. Um, Ryan is out. Wayne here. Okay, let the record show we have quum. All right. Um, everybody received a copy of the agenda. So, uh, I get need to entertain a motion to approve the agenda. A motion to approve the agenda. Okay. Motion made by Shane. Second. Second by Harold. All in favor say I. I.
Pass. Okay. Uh standing business. Uh approval of prior meeting minutes. Everybody get a copy of that. Okay. Make a motion to approve. I'll make that motion. Okay. Motion made by Daisy. I'll second it. Second by Marty. All in favor say I. I. I. I. Okay. Any public comments? Uh,
no public comments. No old business. Uh, I do want to say this meeting is being live streamed by Under Production Multimedia. Um, now on to new business. We have 80 market street development plan approval. Yeah. Uh, the engineer couldn't be here tonight. We've been dealing with this this property for quite a while. I pretty much know everything they got going on up there. What it is. Last year, Shane wasn't here, but you guys probably don't remember too much, but we've had so many things want to go there. Last year they submitted a plan like this and it shows you know that it's pretty much the same as what they what you've got in your thing but they didn't have the right entrances and exits the egress and uh they made some changes to the drainage. So we had to review all that to start with the building. So what we're what they need to do is have it so they get started. They need they're seeking approval of this this plan. Uh it's been looked at by the sanitation department, sewer department, and uh they approved it. Uh it's got all the utilities. Um they've got now they have access from Highway 62 onto the property and they're going to have eress off of uh Pike Street. So they've got that taken care of. the drainage. I've reviewed the drainage with the engineer and it's passed. So, this is all we're waiting on.
Well, this has been held up for quite some time.
Yes. Yes, it has. The building size has changed a little bit uh for the better uh because the drains they had to move that too because the drainage in that front part on 62 is there's an issue there. They're actually working with redevelopment to fix that drainage. Um the mayor asked him to uh think it's in color. You'll see that the mayor asked him to do a little little bit more decorative facade on that and they've done that. They're working with I think working with redevelopment to get some of that done too. So they cleaned up the facade. He's got some pictures. Um, so I guess after dealing with it for 5 years, you know, the original story, you know, the Wendy's and uh that fell through and Wy Brown want to to take over Wendy's and they told me we couldn't and it kind of just everything fell through and they picked it back up. So it's good piece of property be pretty nice place to be there.
Any any questions? So where they going to come out of where is they going in there? That's what you said at first. Yeah, that was another whole originally wouldn't go let anybody do anything. They didn't. So they couldn't [clears throat] come off at 62 with its own entrance a little further down. The state wouldn't let them do that. Of course, Marcus Street belongs to the state, too. So they didn't want to cut out there. So [snorts] they worked it out. Took them a while to get that worked out. Everybody knows you work with the state. Takes a while to do that. My only concern is uh the trash. Where where's the dumpsters at on this? And then the dumpster is going back. You know, the side of the the bank was. Yeah.
They're going to put it back there and put up by the bank. No, I'm sorry. Bank, not sorry. When you come in off of uh Pike Street, yes, there's two entrances off Pike Street on this side. They're going to be the furthest one close. Those are actually going to be pretty much where uh is, but they're going to put a nice they always put a nice thing around it. Okay. It's like like brick. Right. Right. Okay. I you know this is interest to our city and yeah he the mayor has made that pretty much clear to me and he's pretty much from here so he he knows.
I mean this sign that's not going to be the city of Charle Town sign right. No, the city of Charle Town sign they're trying to determine where to put it because we had to put a new one up of course that was getting old, but we had to take it down for the end dot pro end project they have there. We had to take that down for that. So, we're putting a new sign there and they're working on exactly where they're going to put it. So, okay. Any more questions? Okay. Um All right. So, need to get a motion um to approve the 80 market street development plan approval.
I'll make that motion. Motion B made by Wayne. Second. Second by Harold. All in favor say I. I.
I has it. Let let the board know that at our next meeting in April, we're going to uh be reviewing a uh you're going to get paperwork for a 342 apartment complex out off Christianity Parkway on that one corner. So, going have to have to send out 190 notices to all within that area. We want everybody to know what's going on. [clears throat] It's uh it's right there. you if you're coming from the middle school and going toward Christianity right when you hit that roundabout right here on the right that big area there but the mayor puts asked them to put some uh stuff together as far as a vital pin thing and trees and stuff like that. So more apartments put bars in there just like have a nice grocery store.
I know [laughter] grocery store eventually all these or Whole Foods. That's all I Anything else? Any other discussions? All right. So if nothing else um yeah nothing else um need a motion to adjurnn. I'll make it. Motion made by Wayne. I'll second it. Second by Shane. All in favor say I. I. We are ajourned. Once driving.
