CITY-SPONSORED COMMUNITY RALLY REGARDING PROPOSED LOS ANGELES COUNTY HOMEKEY PROJECT
The City of Carson is hosting a public community rally in the E. Albertoni Street public right of way adjacent to 401 E. Albertoni Street, regarding the proposed County of Los Angeles Homekey Project, known as the Weingart Primose, located at 401 E. Albertoni Street, Carson, CA 90746. This Homekey Project involves the conversion of a former Extended Stay America hotel into 105 studio apartments for the chronically unhoused and those at risk of homelessness and is funded by the County of Los Angeles. A quorum of the City Council is anticipated to attend and participate in the event. City Council members may provide individual comments and remarks during the event. The public will have an opportunity to provide public comment on this item during the event. No City Council decision or vote will be considered as part of this item.
