I guess one of these goes um okay we are being uh recorded to live stream right on YouTube I guess one of these goes um Okay, we are being uh recorded to live stream on YouTube. Which one of these do I close out of? I guess one of these goes um
we are being uh recorded to bless YouTube close as this goes. Um the blessing Okay, I guess it's still live streaming.
the first. Yes. accept the easements. Washington second. I am starting and accessory long either attached or separate, right?
Yeah. So, there is a link here. So, we should probably all read it before the next meeting and let me see what So this is usually what legisl ordinance development grant to assist with the implementation of the legislation. Um those grant applications will be until July 31st. So maybe I'll take a look at that between now and next meeting and see if there's
it's this um it's mocha main um oh is it this video here? chamber one. So there's a on the grant on a page you can watch a video prepared by Mocha to reach them that helps that if you decide you want to apply for granting new I don't know any ordinance we write
so it would it would just be part of our housing ordinance right until we read it I don't know do we need a separate housing opportunity program Or did we just, you know, add add a paragraph to our housing agend?
Yeah, exactly. The bets have been titled a retail um under old business that the select word they um didn't vote on putting those ordinances on the town of eating warrant because they're just debating about whether there's too much risk. I don't know. We've always done we've always done review while they think there's not much risk just we've always done it that way they didn't know so they held off to the next meeting I think they don't have a meeting coming up because of conflict since it's going to be
I think they're probably going to hold off until June when they can get a new fiscal year right I think that's what they're going to do well we could if we have a special time meeting to look at the comprehensive plan which is big enough it should probably be But if you have special town meeting, then it won't be on warrant for you. All those changes be done will sit there for a year. Unless we decide you want to push the issues, then we do a couple things. We could either have a petition to hold a special town meeting in July.
Okay. And that's the the four or August or whatever we or we could have a series of petitions to get you now to have all four been put on this year's town. So that there are options that we can certainly do as individual citizens. We can do it as a board or we can do nothing here or decide to push special time sometimes later on. I don't think sit back and do nothing because all that hard work I mean what I mean it's a work in progress but what's currently progress right you know um you don't think we could talk with the the board about possibly getting something going? might take a few weeks up to Brian or Christine.
Yeah. Out of town for another couple weeks. Yeah. Brian. Sure. Robin and see see what we can do. Yeah. Like you said, I don't want to sit back on it for a year. I mean, that's not fair. Yeah. You lose all the progress. I mean, it's another whole year we're going to make up again. add and then and just puts other stuff behind because the stuff is sitting there. Well, I could argue we just take that off the plate right now, but I don't we're working on that. I don't know that
I don't know because at these meetings it's very difficult to do group writing. Oh, do you? So, the work sessions are really good projects. Yeah, I was showing you I have a hard time getting to them with work and well, we could do them later or do on a Saturday or something, but nobody wants to. It's hard to do that as well. It is. It is, but it is options. We're making progress. We're getting there. Robin, um, thank goodness retired, so she has time and she's really good at this. Yeah, she seems good. Yeah. Yeah. I was showing we we looked at a couple different formats, right? Templates of designing the file documents. We think one would be lights and it's on the website on Oh, good. Drive you see the draft. Yeah. Yeah.
All right. So, I guess the process then is you will talk to Brian and do I have to do that at at a board meeting? I mean, we're not voting anything. We're not making decision. I
I don't want to overstep my bounds, but I I'll talk to him about it. I better mention it in passing that they want to break up in a meeting. I can do that too. What was Christine's? C A R R I G O. walk into the town office over here sometime. Get some feedback, too. That's always helpful.
Well, I don't know that. I mean, Brian's not there. No, no, no. But I mean, just getting the word out that I'm interested in keeping this going. Okay. The Scott keeps going. Yeah. But we're not in the groomer. Oh, absolutely. Yeah. Yeah. Um maybe we can do the business first and come back to the Sure. Yes. Solar update. I see they got the updated map.
Y question. This this little over here in the What is that? That is defense. The red line is going to be the fence. And this is the driveway, right? But this driveway's over here, is it? I love the driveway around the outside of the fence. Yes. Yeah. That's This is the pave one right here. Yeah, that's the driveway. It's going to stop there. Yeah. I'm just wondering why I had the little jet over the fence. Why didn't it just come across here? Isn't that that turn around spot thing that he was talking about? Yeah, I don't see that up here anymore. Well, they said this turn around.
Yes. Yes. But there there was one up here that I don't see. So, I mean, it's it's not a big deal. I mean, they're going to work with people anyways. It's just I was trying to figure out what the little that little spider was. Yeah. You don't happen to have the old one with me? I do.
I had the money sent. Yes. Oh, it wasn't right. those really.
Yeah, I think I think that little turn around was still in right there. Yes. I think. Well, that's inside the fence. Yeah, because I was right in the area where on his map that he loan us yesterday, right? Was that little Yeah. Airhead or J, whatever you call that,
actually. If I can put that on the screen. even more holes drive which I didn't hear anybody having problems with holes. You know, I think the only problem was with with was with was the road being too close to the fence. Well, originally the uh the road was inside the fence and that's Yeah.
And he didn't want that. So, he changed that which I don't know why you put the rope inside the fence inside. Yeah. Yeah. I He's not even supposed to talk to that if it's on fire, right? Yeah. still going to be interesting where where they have the uh the terrain and the steep slope. They're going to have to build that up, but they'll take care of that.
Um I don't know. I don't think this diagram had the ide
Yeah. Looks like now we just made that he crossed out the turnaround because the fence cuts off the turnaround which you ask me about that. I don't think it makes a big difference because this is the turnaround they'll be using anyways all the way down around here. Right. So, as long as he has a turn around something, he's okay. Yeah. All right. Um, did this get sent to the fire department as well? Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Jason acknowledged it and said he's got it and he already sent a note that he's fine with these changes.
Perfect. That's awesome. Now, I haven't heard from Aaron, but I will reach out to him for some Uh that's the next steps which is Oh, okay.
Yes. Let me show you what's I think put it up on the wall behind you. Yeah. Um, let me open. So, I'll show you last year's and then Kathy specifically asked that we don't use any graphics. Oh, okay. That's boring. With all graphics.
Yeah. I over saved last year's, but I did I saved on top of last year's. Let me find one for that. So this is generally what the this is what like 2024 looked like that's what 2024 they didn't want any um graphics. I don't know why but she didn't want any graphics. So we converted to this for 2026. Um really said we're a full board. Here's what we do. We're working on the comp plan. I I thought to kind of give people maybe a sneak peek at what's coming. We included the proposed vision mission statement
for the comp plan. Uh and it just lists basically the planning board members. Now, I did say here that um we're expecting we expect to see the following ordinance for a vote because as of this writing that is what we expect,
right? So, I'll get uh Robin's feedback and Don's feedback, and if they're okay with it, I'll go ahead and send that to Kathy as long as you guys agree. Okie dokie. Uh I will also ask log feedback on earth we have homework and we should be able to um do something for that at the next meeting right as far as getting the the the report back Kathy after they say it's Okay, we got Oh, I need to send it. Okay, sweet. She wants Let me show you the comp plan. events. Oh, I guess a question if um I mean at the site visit at the silver location, Aaron basically said with the changes that we discussed there, he has no problem. If he confirms that um tomorrow, are we just okay with putting I mean I'd like to say that we are reaffirming that the proposed changes are acceptable according to our ordinance according to our understanding mostly
motion. Yes. Yeah. And the application everything's good. Yeah. Okay. So as far as I know everybody was agre in agreement there. Yes. Seemed that way. Yeah. Okay. So with with the understanding that when they're building the road, the fire chief can come down to take a look at it and make sure that the turnaround is adequate for his vehicles. Yeah. Yeah. Everything stays as planned. Yeah, that should be fine. Okay. I just want to make sure we had a final Yeah.
Let me just make a motion. I'm going to make a motion that based on the discussions on the site, the revised plan that was sent today, conversations with uh Chief Vaughn, pending a conversation with Aaron, confirmation of that conversation, um that we approve the proposition with the fencing and road fund. Wait, somebody all in favor? Yay. All right. need to do.
Yeah, I felt that uh that meeting walk through very well as far getting everybody talking on the same page. Yeah.
So, this is what we're looking at through a design from just a graphic design standpoint. It was very simple. Yeah. Um was that for cover page? That'd be like Yeah, cover page. Um
you mean we don't have owl's head? Yeah. like Daniel. And so these are not all fully correct, right? But these are just kind of placeholders, right? Basically format, right? Yeah. For table of contents, you know, have it introduction purpose, how to use the plan. She put it already the And those are the same things that are on the talent town, right? Mission guiding principles, stuff like that.
Yeah. I didn't go that far. I just did the vision mission. Yeah. in the town report. But once you get So now we can start to add pictures and maybe we'll play with this a little bit more. Um mission banning principles. She started looking at like chapter three. Now we were talking about why this like numbers up in the middle of nowhere. Like maybe that should go on the little red tab. Yeah. Or something. So we can play with some of that stuff. Um it tab all that long. Yeah. Yeah. So I I don't know why it should that this this should be able to be that you don't Oh yeah, that can work. There we go. There we go.
Or you may not even need it on the on the title pages like this. You don't might not need it. But anyway, is that just a page number? Yes. Yeah. Okay. Well, it's only on the one, so Okay. So, we've got these are starting looks at goals like one, two, three, four. There may be more. So, she was just starting to, you know, piece together what it could start to look like. So, I think we're going to start working on those the inventory chapters that we did that are right now all in Word format. For instance, we can translate those over into this horizontal PowerPoint format. It may not be as readable because of the smile print and stuff, but we can reformat.
Yeah. But I think we would prefer to deliver the final report in this landscape format, but it makes a nicer book. It makes a nicer user document. Last movie. Yeah. So, it's it's it's formatted like this kind of. Yeah. Okay. Or we're getting there like a starting document. And people say, "Oh, the formatting. You don't have to worry about making it pretty." But you do have you do it attractive. And this people, I think, see just a vomit of words on the page and they just blank out. Yeah. You know, people are so used to visual stimulus and bullets and things that make it quick and easy to understand.
Um, so we're going to kind of get the intro stuff, intro stuff done. We're almost done with the in um inventory stuff at the back. Um and then we start holding a town waiting on the so what. So if we have these goals, how do we get there? And we looked at um what resources do we need to reach those goals, right? What what do we need from a capacity standpoint? What do we need from a financial standpoint etc. So I think there's going to be a nice structure that that will help us actually do something. That's exciting. That's very exciting. So just so you know
that's where we are. So basically all all the different cap and stuff would be in that same landscape type format bullets and yeah those are more X heavy so they may have slightly different format but would be green color grassy accent whatever that is on some bullets with the soft
um you probably should look at more work dates. Don't we don't really have that one set up. I think the one we didn't do last night. Um I'm not exactly sure whether it's coming back I think later this week. Um I cannot after a kind of slow winter think the schedule was filling up so fast. Maybe on the 26th. I have something written down afternoon CBC 1 p.m. I don't know what that
you sent to the wrong person. You're not going to be able to
I cannot help you with that. Um, let me get uh Robin in a conversation and we can look at the schedule and see. I can't remember what the date was when Robin was said she was going to be back. I think the end of this week, but I hope she's having fun. So, I've got two I've got something on my calendar on the 22nd and on the whole things. All right, that was one. So, maybe next week might do another week. That's so we could potentially let me check with the 202 possibility. And let's see if May right now Wednesdays are pretty open.
So we already have our planning board meeting on 6th of May. Just a reminder. Yeah. Your calendar purposes. Move that from the seven. So you haven't even that big yet.
I don't know who's coming. You invite like people are running for the Senate or the governor or whoever candidates come on top. I don't know. I don't know if it might be town candidates who are going to be on the ballot to vote for select board and planning board and other functions. School board. I don't know if it's town candidates or anybody else. That's I mean they haven't really put much information out there about that last May 6 p.m.
Should I say no? No, probably not on that day. Back in time. All right, you're jet work that day. Your doctor. Now, is this Louis plane? Oh, that's Dere Dargo at Tony. No, but is it yours? Youngest Trevor, your last year. Lucian. Yeah, that's a great year. Yeah. Yeah.
All right. So, May the 22nd. Um May we're at six. So maybe 13 Sure. Okay. One more day maybe. 28th or 27?
22nd. Yeah. 28th or 27. 20th or 27th. 27th. May 20th. Almost. That's May.
Yeah. May 20th. I'll send to see if they can see you. No, I mean something in the box though. Yep.
She must be able to sit there and visually turn them. Oh yeah. We said 13.
Yes. You can find all the place last week. They talked about the food truck guy. They did.
Yeah. And if he's applying to for any town owned property, he must have put it on the ball field or he wants to put it near the boat. There's a form in the office for use of the land. You come in, fill out the form, the board where I consider it. So that'd be the same thing for the boat landing and the parking lot there. Right. If it's in the parking lot, I think yes, if it's Bill Gray and Carolyn Gray own the the lot adjacent, right? Yeah. grass behind behind the ice cream shop. Yes. Right. So, if it's on their land, they have to put it. Yeah. Okay. Um what about the campers parking lot down there? Is that town home or is that
Yeah, you are. It is. Okay. So, it's the same. Yeah. Perfect. All right. A lot of discussion about what kind of food. Really? food truck would have obviously been food, but I mean there's so many interesting food trucks around. There's a food truck um like a big conference in uh Portsouth, New Hampshire. Yeah, they have that every year, right? Yeah. My sister-in-law said you might eat our way through Portsouth. Be a lot of fun.
Yeah, I think that is a whole other stuff. So, homework, look up LD 2173. So, read that. If I can print out a copy, I'll do that. You guys, I don't know how long the legislation is. Um, but we have that on our agenda next week. um in your opinion if you think we need help integrating it into our ordinances because then you could potentially apply for assistance grants and so somebody else. Oh yeah. Um
yeah whether it can be incorporated into an existing ordinance or if it or if we should have a tolling one. Yeah. I will include this in our meeting minutes and a copy of your meeting minutes as well. So that all right I will follow up with Aaron. You're going to follow up in the conversation and I'll wait to hear you guys are okay with time report Kathy and Rob a quick chance to take a look at it and I'll All right. Anything else?
Um, I don't think so. And I have a motion to all favor. Most concise meeting. I'm sorry you guys had to wait. We worked it on goals.
