Yeah, maybe more so for the appointment. Yeah, I didn't know if you received Ross's letter. Ross had to leave us a little while to write some
terms. [clears throat] 10 year track. [laughter] Do you guys have anything on anything you want to say? You know, it's a new year. Anita Worling's a new president of the board. So, Brett Reinhardt stepped down from that position. You know that for a long time. Um, so yeah, we're kind of looking forward to some new Is he still on?
He is still on the board. Yep. pretty quiet month other than change check valine issues last week taken care of. Uh we're just waiting waiting to ramp up for this. Our projects coming down the line here. They came in this past week and did some measurements. talked to he thought maybe stuff would start arriving or start making some movement on first of March about middle of March on the 10. What are they going to do first?
Uh it was originally the meters. That's what I thought they were supposed to start that the beginning of this month. Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Anything else? guys did a nice job that major. Thank you. Salt.
Salt. We got about half of our supply. I think we're good to make it through the winter, but we will have to order more next year. In years past, she had nine calls for service, four traffic contacts, assisting another one violence violation and two animal complaints. I'm not sure if this was her schedu been able for the bulletproof vest. We need one for Jason and one for Jill. They're very expensive $6,900, but he's raised. Yeah, he's raised 4,000 several different
we need 69. My question is, do we want to go ahead and get those $900? I have no problem with it. I just can't if we gave grant money for we put that back in our account. That's what I'm saying. If we've already grant that that's my only stipulation. I got no problem doing it, but if we do, I don't think so. It's very important.
Oh, absolutely. I have no problem saying that we go and spend $2,900 off. This has been going on for like
Well, let's What do you think about him? Did you say Duke? Try Duke Energy. Yeah. Get with Dagy and see
what do you think? I say let's see if we can get something else from once we buy it. We can't get We can't accept money if it's coming. I mean, all right. We need to do something. I agree. I don't care if we do it. I'm just saying if we do, then if money comes in next week, we can't accept it. How about Can you make the motion to where we'll spend the 2900? If we cannot get any more grant money, if we can hold off on it,
I'll think I think another people, you know, I agree. Yeah, I think we're all at that point right now. One more one more push and I think Ken's willing to do that for us
and maybe he's already asked. I don't know. We'll find out. He was unable to attend tonight. I asked him. Okay. The other issue is our signs to the entrance of town are kind of outdated. We've been talking about it, but I've talked to it's called Summer's Edge, which is Dick Rainy that lives east of Florida and if you notice their signs for their business, it's out on the highway right there. Pretty cool looking. This is for a 4x4 substrate and installed with a 4x4 post and caps. They're really nice. And they'll be doublesided. He has a blackmith make the hinges and brackets to hang them. It comes out to about $1,000 per signage for a while. We had a little discussion before we got on today. You know, the location of the signs need to be kind of updated to what is current. So, what do you guys think of that?
I like the price. I don't have a problem. These are not just metal signs like we have currently. These are look a lot nicer. They look like a sanded sign. Kind of a lot. They're similar to that. I don't think you're plaster. That's what they kind of look like. What do you think, Andy? I think it sounds good. Yeah. Four of them.
All right. I'll I'll try to get a rendition of whatever he has. I don't know if he has software. If nothing else, I take a picture of what they have. What we wanted to say is the next thing of the otter. Now it says great or good place to call home. Yeah, I think it's just welcome to camp.
Oh, like I said, I don't know what it looks like on there. If it looks good sizewise, I'll see if I can I'll see if I get a rendition and send it out to you electronically. Okay, sounds good. All right. Are you making a second on that?
Oh, that's one uh on the electronic side out here. I talked to Kim. His son has programmed whatever he has. He bought some equipment and it's we've had issues out here with the internet not being sufficient to run that inter He said give him a few days.
He said just give him a couple days. I think he talked to you. Yeah, he asked me if he had mentioned.
So hopefully, you know, we'll get upate on that sign. community building. She gave it up and her stepdaughter Facebook page I don't have a problem.
Yeah. See if we can find somebody because I thought, you know, some German Baptist girl or whatever lady extra work. All right. Yeah. Whatever.
All right. Utility adjustments. Public comments.
Andy. No, there will be a fishch.
Yeah, next month. [laughter] Yeah, I'll put that on. [laughter] When is it? I want to say the first Saturday. It's either first or second Saturday. you sign up. Yeah, that's going first inerson sign up and online. So, we're going to have three more inerson signups. I think the next one's February 23rd.
