including uh concerts not only put on by the high school but uh certainly the summer concert series and a bunch of other uh video um activities so just want to thank bber Community television for coming out and doing that and having that for the community because it showed I mentioned this at the last meeting this is a unique example of how the various community community organizations can collaborate and help each other out to share resources and raise funds for the betterment of our community so congratulations to everyone thank you you're welcome um Saturday February 1st from 11: to 2 at the anerino community center 2001 Recreation Drive will be their annual Winter Fest although the weather is going to be not so frightful on Saturday they will have snow painting snowball slingshot I'll take you guys on snow pants uh games fire pit with s'mores family photo station Fountain do library will be there with activities and the bookmobile there's going to be a dance party and performances crafts snowball fights climbing wall and more that is going to be 11 to2 at the anino I know we went last year and we had great fun and it was very cold so I'm sure this year it's going to be a a much nicer event um last but not least before we close and um something that I think is very important Bowling Brook is amazing it has lots of great people it has lots of spectacular attributes and it has Facebook so I I say that with the grain of salt because just because you read it on Facebook doesn't mean it happened doesn't mean it's correct so verify from

21:46 – 23:45Speaker 1

the right sources what you need to know we have an amazing Public Safety team police fire Public Works we take care of business that needs to be taken care of we take care of our resident and we do a darn good job of doing all of that you have questions Facebook is not the place to find the answers we're all accessible we're all attainable and uh there's a whole there's a whole bunch of us and and what you could see here is is only a portion of it the rest of the group is in the back but pick up the phone send an email ask the questions we'll give you the answers you might not always like the answers but we'll give you the correct answers with the correct uh information so don't jump to conclusions and don't get baited on Facebook just going to leave it at that that that's a message that can be delivered each and every meeting okay very good don't get baed by Facebook administrators you have anything no Enjoy the warm weather yay I know it feels like a heat wave Spartan you have anything nothing I can't play with my toy so not till next time it's all right we might have to do a demo we all right do you have anything I do oh wow okay go for it uh uh recently in one of the other Villages where we represent the village of Chicago Ridge we had a tragic fire where 24 Apartments uh were uh burnt out and gutted uh the Lions Club in the village uh took hold of that in cooperation with the village uh housed people who needed to be housed uh started a fundraiser and raised money uh donated clothes etc etc for the 24 apartments that were displaced the reason for me speaking tonight is one of

23:42 – 25:30Speaker 1

the things we learned in the course of uh after the fire is that most of the uh residents did not have apartment Insurance something so easy and not expensive uh but but were not informed and didn't know to get apartment insurance which is tragic because they have nothing now so just just a note uh and we're going to all of the lawyers in my firm are going to say this at every meeting that we go to uh please be alert the landlord should be alert to tell the uh prospective uh leaseholders that there is something called apartment insurance and it really helps in in trade renters insurance right yes yes apply to if you're renting a single family home I would recommend adding renters insurance yes yeah I'm glad the Lions stepped up yes the Lions really stepped up rich yes very good anybody have anything else nothing all right we have no executive session this evening I will entertain a motion to conclude the meeting and adjourn so moved second let law second trusty Cano all those in favor say I I opposed thank you we stand adjourn good night everyone
