I have two speaker appearance forms, but they appear to be for an issue that we've continued tonight. I'll just make sure here. Do I have Karen Evans or Martin Underwood here tonight? Okay. Uh I think those are both Solivan Ranch. He'll probably want to speak on those when they're on the agenda for the next council meeting. Next, I have council member comments. Anything from members of the council this evening? Council member Edmonson. Well, I just like to point out a couple of things we did in the consent agenda.

6:01 – 6:46Speaker 1

U one is the uh grant approval or approval for going for a grant for Rotary Park to change the tennis courts over to pickle ball courts. We've had a lot of complaints over the years about the condition of the tennis courts over at Rotary Park. And it's nice to see that that's going to be one of the upgrades we get. And then also it deals with uh South Park. So we had some deals in there. though some work that's going to be ready to play on that. So, I thought at least be worth mentioning something that comes through the consent agenda that impacts our community but kind of gets through here real quick. So, if somebody does watch this, at least maybe they get a heads up and know what's going on besides something on Facebook, which we can all count on. I know

6:44 – 7:03Speaker 1

those are both very good items on the agenda tonight. Uh big for Southwest Park Construction in District Three and uh we always need more pickleball courts, don't we? Yes, we do. Yes, we do. Those are great. All right. Any other council members have comments for this evening? Your honor, Council Member Ericson? I

7:00 – 7:30Speaker 1

I'll have to tag on to what he said, too. We do have the World Cup task force coming up and also probably as important as the 11th, I believe, is uh Veterans Day. And some of you will be getting your free meals. I'll be uh celebrating with my granddaughter who led the pledge of allegiance signing earlier this year as a guest. So, I'll have to be a good boy at least for a few hours. So, thank you all your veterans. We'll celebrate together.

7:28 – 8:08Speaker 1

Yes. Thank you, Council Member Ericson. Veterans Day is next Tuesday, November 11th. The city offices will be closed that day. So, uh we'll be letting our our employees celebrate as well. Since you mentioned it, uh I think there's only two in this room that I know for sure, but we're going to go and do our own celebration. If you are a veteran here in this room right now, could you stand so we can recognize you and thank you for your I know council member Erikson is one. Mr. Min, I believe you. No, not at all. Okay. I'm the only one. You're the only one in the whole room. Okay. Not for me. Well, Council Member said, thank you for your service. Thank you for that. I appreciate it. Everybody,

8:05 – 8:38Speaker 1

also next week on Thursday the 13th, we'll have a town hall meeting here in this room regarding update on downtown projects. a lot of good stuff that uh is going on. Uh more to update. There'll be some new information then as well. We'll have details on the streetscape, exactly what the engineering looks like for that. And so uh it'll be worth tuning in or coming here to check it out. So that is all I have for this evening. Anybody missing anything? I'll accept a mo Oh, no. I won't. I'll accept a motion to go into executive session. City clerk will read a motion to submit.

8:36 – 9:16Speaker 1
