In accordance with the authority vested in me by the Rules of the Board of Commissioners as well as T.C.A. § 5-1-104, § 5-1-105 and § 5-5-105, notice is hereby given that the Legislative Body of Blount County, Tennessee will meet on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 5:30 PM in Commission Meeting room 430 at the Blount County Courthouse of Maryville, Tennessee in order to accept the resignation/declination of John E. Giles, Board of Commissioners District 4, Seat C, who has declined to fulfill the position he was elected to in the Blount County General Election held on August 6, 2026.
