Yeah. Happy to. Thank you, mayor. Commissioner, our we have a we had a current have a current contract with a with a group over at Prisma. They're they're not it's not Prisma, but it's a a subgroup over there, independent contractors. And they've been doing this for for the county for quite a long time. They have turned in their notice and and resigned from from being the ME for the county. And so there's been a lot of effort put into trying to find what are the the different solutions, whether it be Prisma itself, go directly to Prisma. We we had conversations with them. We reached out to other physicians, other try to find what other options are.
And, obviously, the Knox County Forensic Center is an entity that we're already familiar with. They do this for Anderson County and Knox County, obviously. And and so it was a a natural progression to meet with them and talk to them about how the how it looked. What they provide as far as services are all in one solution. Right now, it's the the current process is separated out amongst several different group, including the mayor's office, the pathology group, the hospital, and Knox Forensic Center. And so this puts it all in one place. So it's a better service for law enforcement, and it's a better service for the families.
Okay. And so you're satisfied that this is the best solution that we're we've got for the taxpayers given the services offered and given the available options?
Yes, sir.
