Water if needed. Check wheelbarrow. Recruit volunteers to check at least once or twice a week on Wed and Sat. every week until water is turned on.
TreeKeepers inspect trees
Endangered Species Day Friday May 15 - May 29, (year 25). Emails will be sent out to TreeKeepers- Mid April.
Arbor Day Ceremony
April 24 – The Arboretum at Bloomfield Town Hall. 11:00 – 1 pm. Save the date. Tree planting in honor of Deputy Mayor David Mann and Tree City USA designation.
DPW Report that pertains to BBC
1. Reminder to set up walk around meeting with BBC pertaining to 2026 maintenance at all Public Gardens. Request sent March 2 by Chair. 2. Cut lirope in early April. 3. Mulch for tulip Tree garden West side Town Hall. 4. Tree circles and riding mowers and mulching around TFB trees in public spaces. 5. Woodchips on west side of Town Hall to elevate rhodys in Tulip poplar bed. 6. When will water be turned on? 7. Edging for TH gardens April and Aug.
