Thank you for serving us for 85 years to honour the members and civil servants of Mirvest Nagar Parishad and BHA. Many civil servants are with us and definitely our teacher, Paul Koester is also here. We have received the blessings of a wonderful team dedicated to serving the B-1 community. Since 1941, BHI has made a name for itself, but our mission has always been far more than buildings. This is for the people. to provide stability for families, to create opportunities for children, to support our families and to help the residents become self-reliant. Our 85-year-old descendants are the generations of volunteers and workers who have served this organization along with the residents, community members, volunteers and leaders who have worked to learn from each other, including Ms. Janice Dominic, who is serving in BJ after serving for 49 years in November. So she has seen half of the life of the agency. We are very grateful for our contribution with the city. And whatever we have achieved is possible because of our cooperation. We are as excited about our future. We are still growing and developing and are looking for new ways to serve this community. Thank you very much for your support for this announcement and for your support for South-East Texas in the form of Mental Health America from our city and county. And I want to focus on how important mental health is in our community. And there are some good things happening here. I want to give you a report. 50% of people who are diagnosed with mental illness are 14 years old. Their symptoms start to appear at a young age. 75% of people with mental illness are diagnosed with mental illness before 18 years old. The initial question is very important and mental. In a healthy America, our aim is that everyone gets the resources they need. And I want to ensure that everyone is invited. I have some resources guides for you about all the services available in our community, which we do as an organization. But I also want to tell you that suicide awareness month is in September and we are planning a virtual seminar. It is said that in the age of AI, it is said that young people are exposed to suicide. This is going to be amazing. Its operation is being carried out by a world-renowned member of the Menninger Clinic in Houston, and it will take place on Tuesday, September 15, for one hour in the afternoon. That's why we encourage all of you to participate in this. And I would like to thank you for your support. And I will give you some of these resources. And I would also like to remind everyone that everyone knows about 9-11. Everyone knows. Everyone doesn't know about 9-18. And this is the National Suicide Control and Suicide Awareness Hotline, on which any person can call if they are in any kind of mental health crisis. And this will connect you to the local resources. I am just a member of the board. She is our leader and I want to thank her for her dedication and service, especially after my mother's stroke and her death. They have a vision and without any support, they used their purpose to make our community a better place. Members of the Municipal Council, I am grateful to all of you for calling us today. My name is Kate Broussard-Thorn and I am a member of the Bumond Junior League. We are celebrating 80 years in present and we are committed to promoting women's leadership through self-management, cooperation and education. 400 women leaders, changemakers and self-employers of Vermont's Junior League work year-round to improve the lives of women, children and families in Southern Texas. We invite you to visit Southern Texas to share good news in both small and big ways. It is a matter of honor for me to accept this announcement, in which on Thursday, September 17, Find the Good Day was announced in Vermont. Last year, for Find the Good Day, we came together and washed 600 clothes in one day. We worked for more than 300 hours. We collected 260 period packs. We took out 155 bags of children's clothes. We packed food for 140 families. Humne 140 posies deliver kiye. 40 phaudhe lagaye, 32 billiyon ko sulaaya, 12 kutton ko tehlaaya. Do almariya banayi aur humne poore din anginat ghale mile, muskuraaye aur dayaluta ke kaare kiye. Hum issaagami find the good day par bhi aisa hi karne ki yojna bana rahe hain. When people are united for service, their lives change, their morale increases, and our community becomes stronger.
