Council - Special Meeting

It's 7 o'clock.

It has been brought to our attention that this contract that we are supposed to discuss and sign tonight has already been done. I will read the minutes from March 11th, 2024. A motion was made by Councilmember Prowse with a second by Councilmember Hartley to extend our current agreement with McGregor and Company for four more years to include fiscal years 2024 through 2027. With no discussion, a vote was taken and it was eight approved and zero denied. So not only did we vote, we voted by unanimous decision to approve a contract. and by the way the rules are set up we can have when we have a call meeting we can only discuss what's on the agenda the only thing on the agenda is this motion which has already been taken care of the only thing that we could discuss so it's not a bit of need to have a meeting so i'm not going to call it the order the matter is settled And that's that apologize for everybody coming up here, but we didn't get this information until late this afternoon. So. You got any questions we'll try to answer them, but this is right there on the on the screen that we've already taken care of. So, that we can go home. It'll actually be in 28 because they they do in 28 he'll do 27 so they will do on they will do an accounting for those years so the accounting for 27 will be done in 28. So this year it's in 26 but they'll be doing the accounting for 25. All right we'll see you at the next regular meeting.
