Motion carries. Okay. Next item on the agenda will be ordinance. We go to old business first. I'm sorry. Any old business? Old business. Mike, I know I mentioned it earlier today, but under old business, uh, I'll update on the, uh, free pickup. We had 104 loans, I think five dumpsters. So, it was very successful for one weekend. Appreciate everybody adhering to that in the public that uh the opportunity was there to clean up. We'll have another one in the spring and uh it's a good turnout. I'm very appreciative of that. Um the old business we had very good turnout, uh fright night. uh appreciate all the help that we got from everybody uh from Nicole Swing and her her people from the school putting on the haunted house uh police departments and Jesse Terry really put a lot into it and appreciate her and Chris's group and the fire department. Appreciate the fire department for allowing us to use our facility

2:57 – 3:41Speaker 1

and just want to give you a little update. All went well. I was kind of I was kind of concerned with the uh events going on around us that we might not have as big a crowd, but you had a great crowd. I appreciate the crowd. I don't have any other old business. Nothing, Joe. Nothing. Okay, we'll move right along. New business. We do have an ordinance 2025-12 creating a non-referring non-interest bearing funds for a deposit of seized cash. Got opportunity to look at the ordinance. Yeah, I spoke to Chief about it earlier. It sounds really good. We need it. I'll make a motion.

3:41 – 4:25Speaker 1

Second. Have a motion and a second. All in favor? Opposed? We need to have a second reading on this. I would ask the rules be suspended. Proceed on second reading. Yep. A motion that second. I'll suspend the rules to have a second. All in favor? I approve. All right. Motion to pass on second third reading. Second. Motion to pass on second third reading and a second by Joe. All you're good. You're good. Car. There's only three names. Just mix them around. Yeah. Yeah. I made all three motions if that helps. I got it. [laughter]

4:25 – 4:38Speaker 1

That's good. I was just trying I was trying to keep up. Okay. Any new business? Two days of trash seems to have went well.

4:36 – 5:48Speaker 1

Nobody new. Nobody new business. I will say starting Monday the 17th, it will be leaf pickup. That'll run through December the 19th. So I have a month there picking up leaves. I know we had a lot of people come in and call about it and uh been having quite a few leaves fall. So, everybody's kind of anxious about getting those up. So, and then uh just a little update like Joe was talking about on the uh on the trash truck. It went really well yesterday and today. Um all the cans I I followed the truck. The cans were lined up and neatly ordered down the road. Looked really looked nice for a change, you know. It really did. and I appreciate everybody's uh support, everybody's uh [clears throat] continued support. We'll be grateful and uh work through I know there's going to be some heat cups with it, but we'll work through those. And we've had a few that's called for extra cans and they're allowed to buy those now in the treasures office if they if they desire a second can. So, everything's going well. and our guys being we worked all day, you know, getting all my office getting it to the street guys, street sanitation guys, and they've done a good job of, you know,

5:47 – 6:31Speaker 1

Exactly. getting getting them out for us. So, we've had several people calling. They got them out fairly quick. So, we have had a few little hiccups along the way that some was got some was missing. They didn't have them on the list or just a mix up on the delivery part and we've had to go back and put a few in place. But, uh, all in all, it's really well. I'm really surprised and pleased the way it's went for the last couple days anyway. So, well, see, we can't change the color. What's the fine for painting them red? But they do a fault, wouldn't it? But I have to [laughter] say, they do they do stand out, look nice, even though they are blue.

6:28 – 7:10Speaker 1

And that's all the new business I have. You have some new business, Mike? Yeah. There's several people that has a like they'll buy furniture's in a box, a big box. They can fit in a trash can. Is the dumpsters open? Well, we will say have a pick up. We [clears throat] will you talking about just the the cardboard? Yeah, just like Yeah, I think they go over there and they drop off at the point. Take it over there and put it over there in the recycle bins. If they can break those boxes down, they get them in the can. those you can you get in the can. I'll dump those and just put them in the can. But I thought everything had to be in a bag.

7:08 – 7:43Speaker 1

Well, I think trash has to lose trash. Yeah. Okay. As far as that, I mean, you're not going to tear up cardboard, cut it up, and put it in bags. [clears throat] Put that put that in the can. If it's too large, like you said, they take it to them. Is the dumpster out there all the time or certain time? No. He's talking about the uh we have a large item dumpster out there. Yeah, we the you talking about the recycle dumpster? Yeah, it's it's out there all the time. Okay. They can take that any day here in business.

7:43 – 8:04Speaker 1

Anything else? Appreciate you guys being here. Mot [clears throat] all in favor. Oh, she cares.
