Pocket Forest
(Debbie). 52 species to plant. If left overs from Arbor Day event, they will go into the forest. 80% of plants ordered, arriving late April. Bench selection underway (donated by Rachels’s dad). $27,200 raised to date. Industrial Museum presentation, 03-26-26. Planting days: May 01 & 02, 2026.
Monarch Waystation
(Debbie, Cindy). Lots of progress. Presented vision to Derek Corsi (Parks Super). Site selected within the zoo area. $1,500 grant from Keep Attleboro Beautiful in the works with Jane Carey. ETA: Late April/early May. On the list to receive free unsold plantings from Grow Native MA. Motion: To send Project Worksheet to mayor and city council for consideration.
