Okay, good afternoon, everyone. My name is Esther Mannheimer. I'm mayor of the city of Asheville, and we are here for the purpose of going into a closed session. I'm going to recognize the vice mayor, Antoinette Mosley, to read the closed session motion.

Thank you, Mayor. I move that the Asheville City Council go into closed session for the following reasons. To prevent disclosure of information that is privileged and confidential, pursuant to the laws of North Carolina, or not considered a public record within the meaning of Chapter 132 of the general statutes. The statutory authorization is contained in North Carolina General Statute Section 143-318.11 .
