Good afternoon. I now call to order the Wednesday, 03/25/2026 meeting of the Appleton City Plan Commission. Please rise and join me in the Pledge of Allegiance. I pledge allegiance of The United States Of America and the republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. All Alright.
Right. So we have no Commissioner Robbins. And okay. Alright. Roll call of membership has been taken, and all are represented with the exceptions of commissioners Robbins and Edinbrook who are excused.
I need a motion to approve the minutes of the previous meeting. We have a motion and a second to approve the minutes of the previous meeting. Is there any discussion of the minutes? Hearing none, all those in favor please signify by saying aye. Aye. Any opposed? Alright. The minutes have passed. We have no public hearings or appearances, so we'll move to our action item. And Colin is gonna tell us about this. Colin. Alright. Go ahead. Thank you.
So this is an extraterritorial preliminary plat that was submitted by the applicant, which is Carol Land Surveying on behalf of the property owner, which is Habitat for Humanity. There's currently one single parcel in the town of Grand Chute right off of Gillett Street and just north of the intersection, I should say, of Gillett Street and Evergreen Drive. And they are proposing to subdivide it into four lots. This would be to build single family residences on these four lots. Staff reviewed this proposal, this preliminary plat, and had no comment on it.
It's relatively straightforward. Just a little bit of background, extraterritorial plats allow the city to look at any proposed preliminary final plat within three miles of the corporate boundaries of the city so that we can compare alignment or ensure alignment, I should say, with everything from transportation to storm water and really everything in our municipal code should, at some point in the future, this property or development come into the city through an annexation. So with that being said, again, relatively straightforward, subdividing into four lots. Staff is recommending approval of this preliminary plat.
Thank you very much. Do we have a motion on item 20 six-three 68? Move to approve. Motion and a second to approve. Is there any discussion from the commission? Hearing none, all those in favor, please signify by saying aye. Aye. Any opposed? With none opposed, that item has been approved. We have no information items, so entertain a motion to adjourn. Move to adjourn. We have a motion and a second to adjourn. All those in favor signify by saying aye. Aye. Any opposed? Alright. We are adjourned. Thank you.
