Right. Roll call. A membership has been taken and all are represented with the exceptions of Commissioners Palmer and Robbins who are excused. I need a motion to approve the minutes of the previous meeting.
Moved. Second.
We have a motion and a second to approve the minutes of the previous meeting. Is there any discussion of the minutes? Hearing none, all those in favor please signify by saying aye. Aye. Any opposed? With none opposed, the minutes have been approved. We have no public hearings or appearances, so we'll move to our action items. We have one today. This is item 20 six-three zero one, request to approve the Mission Ridge North final plat as shown on the attached maps and subject to the conditions in the staff report. And Lindsey is going to tell us about this. All right. Go ahead.
All right. Thank you, Mayor. So prior in August 2025, there was a preliminary plat that was in front of you all for review. And so as land is subdivided through a subdivision planning process, there's the preliminary and there's then the final plat. And so the preliminary plat is consistent, or the final plat is consistent with the preliminary plat that was presented to you back in August.
And just going a little bit back a little bit further, this property was annexed into the city in May 2025 as well. So the proposed development does show within the phase one is 68 lots and then one out lot for a stormwater retention pond. And then their total phasing includes 106 parcels for residential development. This property is zoned R2, so this would allow single or two family housing units to be built on it. But the final plat is consistent with the preliminary plat and with that there were a variety of conditions that were outlined in the staff report that is very similar to most of our final plat conditions.
So there are more technical items that are still being reviewed by city staff. But generally, the layout of what is being presented to plan commission tonight, for today, is consistent with what it will be in the future.
Okay. Great. All right. Looking for a motion.
Move to approve. Second.
We have a motion and a second to approve. We'll open the floor for discussion. Any discussion? All right. Hearing none, all those in favor, please signify by saying aye. Aye. Any opposed? All right. With none opposed, that item has been sure I'm I
I may, just wanted to take a moment to introduce our if new economic development specialist. Steph Lina joined our team several weeks ago, and we're making it a point to bring her to some commissions, including those that she may not necessarily interact with all that often just to make introductions and make sure that she's feeling welcome to the team here.
Excellent. Excellent. Yeah, welcome aboard. Glad to have you. All right. Anything else? All right. Need a motion to adjourn. I've got a motion and a second to adjourn. All those in favor, please signify by saying aye. Aye. Any opposed? All right. With none opposed, we are adjourned. Thank you, everybody.
