Board of Public Works - Regular Meeting

This time I will call the regular meeting of the Board of Public Works to order June 9, 2026, at 1.30 p.m. The record is like we have for Mr. Simms and myself are present. With that, we're ready to approve the minutes.

Thank you. I've got a request to set a bid date for the Longwood Avenue storm replacement project. which will involve installing 1,000 feet of storm line on Longwood Avenue down towards North Shore Boulevard. The City Engineering Department requests to set a bid date for the Longwood Avenue storm replacement project. The requested bid date is June 23, 2026 at 12 p.m.

Okay. I make a motion that we set the bid date for June 23rd for the Longwood Avenue storm replacement project.

Second. Are there any questions? So there's nothing there now?

This is all new stuff? No, it's mostly a replacement. There's an old farm tile that runs along the road. And then it... appears to go out into the front yards along Longwood Avenue. So we're going to take it, keep where the tile is existing on the east side of the road and run it along the north side of Wildwood Avenue and then south. So similar, but mostly a replacement.

And how's it being paid for?

Out of the stormwater utility. Thank you.
