Farmers’ Market/Craft Fair
Need confirmation of dates: July, August, Sept., & Nov. also confirm use of Family Dollar lot or alternative venues.
2026 Events
Continue to determine events and the dates. Boneshakerz Band has canceled. Alternative is Off Duty Angels Band ($600). Signed up Olivia Conway (local talent) for June 20.
Townwide Yard
To be held on Saturday June 13. Pembroke’s date is May 16.
New Committee Structure
Need to draft a Resolution for the new Community Events & Recreation Committee (CERC) while waiting for official requirements.
Town Banners & Flags
Request to be sent to Eversource for annual permit to install banners and flags on utility poles.
Bike Rodeo
PD has not yet set a date.
Concert Yard Signs
Old signs are being reworked. For example, “Free Concert This Saturday / allenstownnh.gov” with signs to be installed a week ahead.
Business Developments
Allenstown Aggregate has started clearing trees on the Plourde Sand & Gravel site. Their commercial bldg. has new business tenants (e.g., Sewer Surgeons). Mari-Vin’s Deli obtained a license for beer & wine, installed a bar & tables up front, offers free delivery. Aubuchon Ace Hardware Grand Opening March 27.
Business Tax Exemption 2.0
Time to re-implement RSA-72.81-72.83 to attract more business. Review assessments for Hillsbrook Village and 25 Canal St.
