Farmers’ Market/Craft Fair
Need confirmation of dates: July, August, Sept., & Nov. also confirm use of Family Dollar lot or alternative venues.
2026 Events
Continue to determine events and the dates. Bonbeshakerz Band agreed on a May 30 concert for $350. Trying to contact Olivia Conway about a June concert with local talent.
Mass Mailing
Crystal to determine “how to,” the cost, and effectiveness of mailing an EDC Schedule of Events to all residents. Schedule still TBD.
New Committee Structure
Expecting reply from TA on how to apply for the new committee to be called the Community Events & Recreation Committee (CERC).
Bike Rodeo
Waiting for PD to set a date.
Concert Yard Signs
Ordering generic ones to be used for concerts. For example, “Town Concert This Saturday / allenstownnh.gov” with signs to be installed a week ahead.
Business Developments
Allenstown Aggregate obtained Planning Board approval for a second commercial building. They also plan to start excavating 1.5 million cubic yards from the Plourde Sand & Gravel site. Mari-Vin’s Deli obtained a license for beer and wine, installed a bar and small tables up front, moved the ice cream to the rear, and now offered free delivery.
