Good evening. On May 4th, the board approved a service credit adjustment for law enforcement. This was a $1,300 increase to the starting salary per five years of service. today i'm here just requesting approval to expand this to all of law enforcement and the detention center and this would be contingent upon funding availability within the law enforcement budget and as the sheriff sees fit so that comes out of their budget yes as he sees fit okay all right we've heard the asker open floor for a motion motion to approve second got a motion a second any further discussion

3:48 – 5:41Speaker 4

all in favor 5-0 thank you thank you all right moving on down the county manager's comments yes mr chairman uh first i wanted to uh let you all know i think i sent this out as a as an email but um kelvin souther that runs our our kitchen they got a hundred percent rating which is really rare having done some work in in uh restaurants in in the past that's a That's a rare rating. Maybe Garrison can back me up on that. Is that pretty rare, Garrison, when that happens? Yeah, I'd say so. So we're proud of him and what he's done with that kitchen. And he's all done this. He's been down some staff, so he's had to kick in. And I think he has like three people, but he was down to two for a long time. And for a while, it was just him, right? And so you've still pulled that off with this. The other thing I wanted to say is I just want to clarify something I said at the last meeting that I wasn't entirely accurate in what I said. What I said is that we have $400,000 for the auditorium. What we have is there's been stated interest and we know it's $400,000 to do the work that we need to do and we're seeking it out through grants. the tda and the school system in the county have all said they'd be interested in in chipping in and try to make that happen but the money is not sitting there right now just want to make sure i clarify that with you all and with brian okay that's all i have mr chairman all righty thank you moving on down the county commissioner comments i guess garrison start on your side well it looks like we're uh trying to break a record so i won't slow us down um

I think over the last week we've had some problems at the health department. I've tried to find out information and that was not made available to me. I'm very concerned about the way the finances go. i was hoping we could have a closed session but we couldn't tonight to discuss it but that's something we need to look at not at the next meeting but i think before the next meeting i'm concerned about what we've pledged financially for the health department i don't know if that can be looked at in a different way

7:55 – 8:23Speaker 8

9:22 – 10:16Speaker 6

I think I had Mark Purdue that list. Mark is another one. Mark, he's a long-time employee. Thank you, Timmy. I don't have much to follow that. Just the rodeo was a huge success both nights. Like Bobby said, big crowds everywhere. And the Derby last weekend also, they had a couple of big nights. I don't know who's responsible really for Flyers on Main Street, but they are pretty. I don't know. Is that the – part of forward group maybe yeah i don't know who that consists of anyway it adds a lot of beauty to the town when you drive up through there i think it looks really pretty it does that's all i have anybody have anything else seeing none take a motion to adjourn make a motion to adjourn second all in favor 11 minutes bill i think we had one six minutes
