Board of Estimate & Apportionment - Regular Meeting

Okay. I'd like to call the meeting of the Board of Deputies to submit a portion in order. Today's date is January 21st, 2016, at 4 o'clock. We have four attendees today. There is John Carson, the Treasurer, and Kim Brokham, the Council President, Megan Keegan, the Council Financial Director. Now on to the agenda. You draw budget transfers for this year, 2026. First one is the Department of General Services. Transfer from other equipment, amount of $12,000. Transfer to contracted services for, is this supposed to say curb? Herb? Herb, U-R-B. Herb? Yeah, that's the name of that herb. Oh, okay. Herb Landscaping Invoice from 2026 Snow Emergency. We have a transfer from recreation, from recreation, maintenance, supplies, and materials for $200 to recreation, maintenance, other equipment. EXPLANATION, WE ALLOCATE FUNDS TO COVER OPERATIONAL BUDGET NEEDS. THIS IS TO REPLACE FUNDS WE USE OUT OF FUNDS THAT WERE SACRIFICED AS OUR 7% REDUCTION.

This is reallocate funds to cover gym equipment for Albany West Community Center and the Gale Street Box Gym. Albany West Gym equipment will be reimbursed by DASNY slash SAM grant 21606. Clarifying SAM grant has nothing to do with me. It's from the state legislature. Is that correct, Joel? Correct.

So are we going to question on that one? We're covering these, but we just want to say it.

So anything with grants in particular, Kate and I are pushing with departments to just open up more communication so that their understanding of how they represent grants in the budget is synonymous with how we think they're represented. So in this case, I'm not entirely sure if these grants have been received and are represented, which is why they're doing the transfer so that we have time to verify.

This is to replace funds with use out of funds that would sacrifice as our seventh judge. Now on to water. There are PERFORM VARIOUS ACCOUNTS TOTALING $252,700 TO OTHER VARIOUS ACCOUNTS.
