No. No, another stupid mandate from Senate, the developers, yeah, they're out of control.
It allows, in my opinion, it allows developers to build more external accessory apartments, dwellings.
Mm-hmm. Yeah. Mayor, I'll make a motion.
Mayor, I'll make a motion to approve ordinance 2026-030 for the code text amendment to amend section 10-15-47, accessory apartments to revise the parking requirements for accessory apartments. Actually, hold on. I want to change this motion.
I want it for, what's the right word? The exterior or the ex? Detached. Detached. I mean, I don't want this to be for all accessory apartments.
So if you have a basement apartment, you're bound by this new ordinance?
It is. It's affecting attached basement apartments.
So with that motion. It's a little punitive, but I'll have to.
Based upon my words? Public hearing to consider an ordinance. Mayor, I make a motion to approve ordinance 2026-0330 for a code text amendment to amend section 1015-47 as previously read.
Mayor, I'll make a motion to approve tonight's consent items A through E.
So I see, what property are we? It's this one right here. Okay. This one right here. It looked like it was the white one. Yes, my bad.
And it's currently zoned rural residential.
Daniel, can I just ask a question on that? So do you have to change the vicinity plan before you change the plot? Is that a requirement, or is the vicinity plan more of just a... Guidelines.
So because it's adopted, it has to be changed by resolution?
The, oh. This rendering that we saw for just a few minutes.
Well, let's just go through this so that we know what this is about. Sure. Because I don't know what it's about. I'd love to see what this is.
I don't know if we even knew that there was going to be another $400,000 ask either, though.
Is this in line, is this policy in line with American Fork, Lehigh, is it comparable in, you know, I wanna make sure that as we look at our benefit packages for our employees that it's comparable in similar cities.
And for the record, I have researched this, so even though I was missing there for a minute.
I actually would love a copy of the study.
So what is the back, which one is? Okay, so if you're on the corner, let's say you're on the corner of... Well, you're looking west. Yeah, if you're looking west. Right here. OK, what does that back of that building look like?
Mayor, I'll make a motion to approve and adopt Resolution 2026-041, authorizing the mayor to sign an interlocal cooperation agreement with the Alpine School District for school resource officer services.
Mayor, I just have one comment for Chief Brown. You know, there's been a lot of public comment on flock hammers. And whenever I'm asked, I kind of share the same thing. We've heard the stories that have saved lives and have brought loved ones back home and have found the bad guys and found cars and we've been on that side of endorsing and helping to pay for flock cameras. It was a 5-0 vote. I think it's still a 5-0 vote. We endorse the use of flock cameras because they save lives. and they keep our community safer. So thanks for all you're doing, thanks for your leadership.
And we talked about that in length as well with you.
That was a personal jab, by the way. JT is carving names.
