“Thanks, Madam Chair. To pick up on a number of comments from you, from Councilman Baker, from Councilman Hamilton, Steiner, and others. So first of all, great work, everybody. Great work. Consultant Amanda, Dave Robar is representative of the Public Arts Task Force or Advisory Board. We've got a great plan. I don't know what motions are in play or not, but let me CONTINUE IN THE SPIRIT OF ASKING SOME CLARIFYING QUESTIONS AND ALSO UNDERSTANDING HOW THIS MIGHT BE USED AND HOW IT STRENGTHENS WHAT WE'VE DONE TO DATE AND HOW WE MIGHT STRENGTHEN IT FURTHER. SO LIKE OTHERS, I THINK IT'S VITAL THAT…”

“BECAUSE THAT'S AN ASSUMPTION WE SHOULD BE CHALLENGING. NOT YOU, BUT KIND OF WE. AND SO THIS IS GREAT, BUT IF WE ASSUME THAT THE MINIMUM WAS 200,000 A YEAR, HOW MUCH MORE WOULD WE HAVE IN THIS PLAN, IS MY QUESTION.”

HE WAS OUT THERE THIS PAST WEEKEND, HANDS IN THE DIRT, TEACHING PEOPLE HOW TO appropriately plant trees, avoid root girdling, avoid volcano mulching, as was another of our appointees, Allison.”

“Thanks, Madam President. And I agree. And also thank you to you and your team for the mission that you perform every day and all year long. They're members of my family, my extended family. There are people who are professionals in my family also who work with people with disabilities. So it's a calling really that's near and dear to the hearts of many people I know and respect. enriches, you know, lives and makes Cuyahoga County a better, better place, a better society, a more just and inclusive place in society. And so and I know in Lakewood, we've worked with agencies who do food vending…”

“Thanks, Madam President. This is a backwards looking announcement. It's just a report out on the tree giveaway, fall tree giveaway this past Saturday at Bernice Pike Park. It was successful. Matt Bixenstein has put in a lot of good work there over the years. And complement to public works, there were multiple staff members there facilitating, participating, helping to make sure the coming and going was working well. And then the planting demonstrations were also going well. And 198 of 200 trees were claimed. And a 12 household wait list will easily find the two remaining trees. So this is…”
