  1. Senator Fincham? Yes, sir. As a Caterpillar retiree, I want to thank you for mentioning a Caterpillar D9 and not a Komatsu. It's the truth, sir. Mike Rowe worked with us at Caterpillar. Now I have to confess, I do have a college degree in engineering, but I think even Mike Rowe would ask this question. We recently lost some water rights on the Colorado And I've heard that Arizona is thinking of building a pipe for a desalinization plant, which I would guess would be hundreds of miles, where California could run 100 yards into the ocean and desalinize. I'd like things to consider. cutting a…

  2. SENATOR FINCHAM, I ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT PFAS CAME FROM FIREFIGHTING FOAM AND COUNCILMAN GARRING'S SHIRTS. BUT I'VE SINCE LEARNED THERE'S A NUMBER OF SOURCES FOR PFAS. AND WE'RE TREATING THE END OF THE PIPE. Every septic tank in Yavapai County is leaching PFAS into the ground. I beg your pardon? Every septic tank. Because people use PFAS, it goes into the sewer system. So the sewer system may be polluting our wells. So I think it's important that we take a look at how do we cut it off at the pass instead of just treating it at the end.

  4. I got one more question. Oh, excuse me. This is my favorite question. So how do you grow vegetables without dirt?

  9. I have said many times that Rodeo was the crown jewel of Prescott. But it seems like every time we mention Rodeo, this town goes Hatfields and McCoys. So I want to first credit down Kimball. You know, the city's been jerking around for, what, 25 years? And finally, we got to the point where we're looking at approving a master plan. Now, you've also heard me say before that the perfect is the enemy of the good. Why do I say that? Well, I'm Six Sigma trained, so I know Deming, I know Duran, and I've put together more Ishikawa fishbone diagrams than Tony Hamer has hair on his head, which is not…

  10. Okay, so we could make a motion that says contingent upon the approval of the lease. Yes, you can do that. Thank you, Joe. That's all, Madam Mayor.

  13. I did some research before your presentation. Yes, sir. And your numbers on New York City are a wee bit low. Well, that's for the state of New York, actually. Oh, okay. Well, New York City is about somewhere in the vicinity of 40,000, 30-something to 44,000. It's very possible within that city it's higher than the state numbers there. Yeah. So they're the number one expensive school district in the country, and they rank in the middle of the country. You mentioned that we're in the top 20% in Arizona. Do you know where we stand nationally?

  15. And not just Prescott, but nationally. Yes. We seem to hear this story over and over. And this has been a country that's dedicated itself to education. I mean, you look at how many people from foreign countries come here to go to college. Yes, sir. Yes. Is there something that's happened in the country that has us divert our attention away from education?

  25. MORE OUT OF THIS THAN IT REALLY IS. PUBLIC WORKS HAS DONE THE CALCULATIONS TO SEE WHAT IT TAKES TO BREAK EVEN. WE'RE TAKING IT FROM 24 TO $31. CORRECT. THANKS TO BRADY I ASKED WHAT OTHER COMMUNITIES CHARGE. PHOENIX CHARGES 51. BUCKEYE IS 31. TEMPE IS 31. Some of the surrounding cities are less, and that's because they don't provide the services we do. They don't do recycling. They don't do bulk item collection. They don't do hazardous waste collection, brush collection, or Christmas tree collection. I don't think we need to continue to lose money waiting on the study. And back to my good…
