“Great. You guys look great. We're missing Didi, but you three look great. Kat moved to San Francisco in 1988, calling the marina home ever since. And her civic engagement began at that neighborhood level, serving in leadership with the Marina Community Association and writing for the Marina Times to give that neighborhood a voice. Kat has also devoted herself to education and providing opportunity for others across the city, serving as president of the foundation of City College of San Francisco and later founding Bay News Rising, a mentorship program for journalism students at San Francisco…”

“Colleagues, today I'm submitting a motion on a rather sensitive topic that has caused much consternation throughout the city and definitely on this body. I'll be submitting... A motion that is based on a months-long investigation, that's based on great journalism, and that is something we probably don't want to have to engage in. But today, this motion is going to be regarding suspending Commissioner William Palmer from the Sheriff's Department Oversight Board and approving charges of official misconduct against Commissioner Palmer. Over the next few weeks, I look forward to moving forward…”

“Colleagues, today I am very pleased to be voting on this resolution recognizing September 2026 as National Service Dog Month here in San Francisco. Since 1975, Canine Companions has provided expertly trained dogs, service dogs, excuse me, free of charge to adults, children, and veterans with disabilities, as well as facility dogs to healthcare, education, and criminal justice professionals. Locally, the San Francisco South Bay Chapter carries this mission forward, raising awareness, recruiting volunteers, and building community across Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, San Mateo, and San Francisco…”

“Thank you, President Mandelman. Would Mary Lindy please, well, why don't you remain seated for a moment? And I'm going to talk about you for a second. Colleagues, today I am honored to commend Mary Lindy for her dedicated service to San Francisco's senior community, culminating with her retirement as the CEO of Heritage on the Marina. Heritage has served San Francisco seniors since 1853, standing as one of the city's oldest and most storied nonprofit organizations and a vital home for older adults in our community. Mary grew up in a large family in eastern Pennsylvania and pursued a career in…”

“Thank you, President Mandelman. Today I'm introducing legislation that affects the way that we purchase firearms and ammunition under Chapter 21H of the city's administrative code. And this is an update to legislation passed by my predecessor, Assemblymember Stephanie, that has similarly been enacted in other jurisdictions. The point of Introducing this update was really to build on that work and to make sure that our city upholds the stringent standards to work with only The most reputable and ethical dealers in the country, but also to make sure that our city departments our city purchaser…”

“He loved he will be missed and may his memory be a blessing Supervisor Cheryl Thank You board president Mandelman for sponsoring this this in memoriam You know, what has always stood out about Clint's story is in how many different ways he found to invest in this city. Politics, real estate, journalism, philanthropy, building a family here. In each chapter, he was building something that made San Francisco stronger. Today, local journalism is under enormous pressure, but his decision to purchase the Examiner and commit to its future, invest in its future, was a meaningful act of civic faith…”

“Thank you, President Mandelman. First and foremost, I want to thank Supervisor Fielder for bringing this up. I think the point of AB2564 to make sure that companies are not jacking up prices on consumers based on any number of things is fantastic. I have some questions specifically regarding some amendments that are going around in Sacramento to address concerns about kind of Let's call it inadvertently prohibiting companies from issuing discounts based on recent purchases. So just to get some time to address those concerns and make sure of that, I'd like to just send this item to committee.”
