“I have a question. This might be for city staff as opposed to yourself. On the accessory dwelling units, 18-6 on page 19, I notice that we've been allowing some accessory structures in the city already, metal buildings and such as. Are we required to put an approach to those buildings? I notice a lot of them are used as garages and things.”

“It depends on how they apply then. Correct. If they apply it as just a storage shed and it's got a four-car garage in it, then we don't require them to put a driveway in?”

    City Commission · Sep 28, 2026

  3. Play at 47:17
“a separate structure structure but the access is pedestrian well i mean i have one in particular that i'm talking about and in my district where there was a two-car garage putting them back with a carport off the side and they're parking boats campers and everything and they're driving across the sidewalks with no approach so how are we allowing this to happen is there any way to control that through this so that is all covered in the land of alma code and we can get with you afterwards and take a closer look at that All right, thank you.”

    City Commission · Sep 28, 2026

  4. Play at 49:52
“Just thinking ahead a little bit, will we be incorporating that in our land development code as a requirement?”

    City Commission · Sep 28, 2026

  5. Play at 52:02
“Which way would better protect the residents in the comprehensive plan or through the land development code?”

    City Commission · Sep 28, 2026

  6. Play at 53:05
“and their conservation elements to form the basis of their comprehensive plan but by not putting it in a comprehensive plan it leaves it open to change through the land development code it's easier to change it through the land development code to allow them at that point your comprehensive plan is”

    City Commission · Sep 28, 2026

  7. Play at 53:48
“I think we should definitely look into it.”

    City Commission · Sep 28, 2026

  8. Play at 1:22:50
“I want to talk about everybody's concerns here about going over the six stories here. And my concern as well, you know, if we expand that to a mile at the uptown center that we're proposing, then live local can expand it another mile beyond that.”

    City Commission · Sep 28, 2026

  9. Play at 1:24:13
“But under live local, they can change the zoning and build with.”

    City Commission · Sep 28, 2026

  10. Play at 1:44:11
“Yes, then. Let's move this forward. Yes.”

    City Commission · Sep 28, 2026

  11. Play at 1:48:08
“I have a question for possibly Jordan or legal as far as the development of the multi use being residential and commercial. How does the impact he's applied as applied as all commercial?”

    City Commission · Sep 28, 2026

  12. Play at 1:48:47
“Okay, because my concern is we just reduced the impact fees on commercial development by quite a bit. So the impact would be on the residents at that point.”

    City Commission · Sep 28, 2026

  13. Play at 1:49:15
“If it's a multi-use development and there's six stories of residential above a story of commercial, how is that applied in the impact? Is that all commercial?”

    City Commission · Sep 28, 2026

  14. Play at 1:52:13
“I'll just go next then. My concern is in the uptown area, we're gonna have a six story building sticking out on top of that hill. And in your words, you said there's no residential affected by that. I believe all the residential to the south side, all the residential to the north side is five acre residential parcels, is it not? Or one acre to five acre residential parcels?”

    City Commission · Sep 28, 2026

  15. Play at 1:52:43
“What is a good distance to look at a six-story building?”

    City Commission · Sep 28, 2026

  16. Play at 6:19
“Please join me in a moment of silence. Thank you. We'll now go to the pledge. Pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Mayor, they're not allowed, or they're not here to attend, so we'll go down and I'll speak and then... Hello, we're here to honor Hello. We're here to honor Army Staff Sergeant Jessica Vazquez, who is unable to attend tonight. Staff Sergeant Vazquez honorably served in the United States Army from March 23, 2001 through June 30, 2010, completing…”

  17. Play at 1:33:25
“I think with the uncertainty of the Amendment 3 passing or not passing, I think we should pull all these items out, including the one that the mayor has mentioned. Any additional vehicles that we're already not working towards, we're unsure whether we're going to need more employees. I think we have enough vehicles in stock. These always can be amended back into the budget after November 3rd. Is that correct?”

    City Commission · Sep 21, 2026

  18. Play at 1:33:58
“You're talking about all the events or vehicles?”

    City Commission · Sep 21, 2026

  19. Play at 1:34:01
“That's just one part of it. I think all the events, the additional spending by the commissioners, all should be pulled out until after the November 3rd vote. That's my opinion.”

    City Commission · Sep 21, 2026

  20. Play at 1:45:47
“Commissioner Colwell? I had asked for an update on fines and through code enforcement, and I haven't received those yet. For liens and fines.”

    City Commission · Sep 21, 2026

  21. Play at 1:48:48
“So how long till it goes through the ordinance committee?”

    City Commission · Sep 21, 2026

  22. Play at 1:49:14
“you know what has just been directed so that's which is just a little piece well well this was a point of contention because when you guys got on the board you voted to repeal the original parking ordinance and now you want to alter it for a temporary period of time until i know i want to i don't want to make it a temporary period of time i want to put it into into effect we can't have people parking on both sides of the street in these subdivisions that's why we had it where it was and and uh”

    City Commission · Sep 21, 2026

  23. Play at 1:49:57
“I would like to see it come through the ordinance review committee myself and put in worded or verbiage.”

    City Commission · Sep 21, 2026

  24. Play at 7:44
“I want to do an addition. I was going to do it for this evening, but I think after discussing this with the attorney, I'd like to add it to the next agenda, which is Resolution 2025-26 to assure that that resolution has been rescinded. This is the agreement between Aloha Estates and Enrico.”

    City Commission · Sep 9, 2026

  25. Play at 8:33
“So this would remove the accepted plot that was brought to the commission at that time in agreement with the bonds and all that and the conditions?”
