“i was just going to say i read the the press release that the city put out today regarding the medians and addressing that maybe we might not have the right plants there back in 2013 when the city had a budget crisis and they let over 100 trees die in the medians because they turned off the water to save money which was a very bad idea also incidentally the same year that we were awarded the tree city award but When we replanted everything, we did a lot of research for the right trees and the right foliage. And it's all native plants that are in those medians now because we did the research…”

“Yeah, I mean, it was there was a lot of research put into that. And it was, it was very well planned. So I, I don't think that we could do anything different in those mediums. But we need to take proper care of it and maybe replant some of the same same native plants, but it was called knick knick is the name of the plant that they put in there because it's native to the area. So I just wanted to bring that up. And second, I am going to the Pierce County LTAC grant meeting tomorrow they're doing the grant reviews for the year and our community center grant is up so i will be there to answer…”

“Thank you. I'm the second person that requested to have the meeting regarding contract negotiations being past the expiration date. And there's no date on the books for the next discussion, at least with fire, as far as I know. And I think that you've got an issue because you have 12 firefighters. Eight of them have applied to work elsewhere because West Pierce is hiring for about 40 positions and those offers will be extended to them September 14th.
