Okay, so we're gonna continue the public hearing and consideration of resolution approving the initiation of the general plan amendment and pre-zone for three project sites. So just as a reminder for those of you who may have been listening at the previous council, we opened the public hearing. We didn't have the necessary four participants at the dais to be able to move forward on this item. We just opened the public hearing as a way to begin this process. So…”

“So I'm going to interject specifically on this property because I'm looking at the floor view and I believe that I'm the only one that lives over there. So I go by that corner almost every single day. I used to walk in that field before the houses were built there. When the houses were built and all that beautiful open space was, before it was gone, it was weird that that little corner kind of stuck, and it still does, sticks out like a sore thumb. It is a weird place, but it is also a place with some opportunity to, And although I think most people know that I have been very, very careful…”

“So it may be a new point. And to your point, I just wanted to be really clear too that for those of us that live there in that neighborhood, that's what that means to us, that corner. And if we can do something that benefits the community, that changes that eyesore, that doesn't leave that as a misopportunity, I think we should take advantage of it. Again, because when it makes sense, That's when I and I think this is a perfect example. It makes sense.”

“Not just no, I missed that. And I thank you for that clarification, because I certainly don't want to come across as like missing that piece. But that is a piece to it. But it also is something that leads to a benefit. So that's okay. So with that, I'm going to stop talking. And I'll go ahead to Councilmember Bichet.”

“Yes. Okay, so that passes. That does not pass. We need a 4-0. Okay, so that one did not pass. Oh, let me just explain quickly to the public that for these types of annexations, you have to have a four-person majority in order for it to pass, right? So that's the reason. Okay, so let's move on to the next one. And if you can do the same thing for the next one. Thank you.”
