I assume that the fire department needs to agree that... It's appropriate, you know do whatever they do about the fuel storage Yeah, mr. Robbins, could you scroll down to page a4?
I think I found what they passed. I have no idea how. Quite thorough I think it's a general bylaw not a zoning bylaw but it says you you can't do things like landing big drones without a permit or you know something like that to control on the ground at the site at the at the business but also controls everywhere I thought that was quite interesting and will it work? I don't know. In their case, I don't know. But it's a good thing to have as part of what we might want to look at. And the other thing I want, if we can, is to ask the zoning officer, our zoning officer, about her interpretation…
I think some of this is more a zoning subject, and some of it, like looking at Westboro, I think is general bylaw. Planning board normally initiates zoning proposals. I'm not sure that we might wanna understand whether we should or could initiate a general bylaw. I think we could because we can submit articles to the warrant like anybody else. or any other town body. But I'd like us to all be on the same page about that.
I think at least for me it would be best to understand a little bit better what the questions are before we start asking them to answer them or what they should be.
So we're saying that we need to have on our record a plan that doesn't show that right yes before we as part of our process here yeah essentially I think we need a new drawing right in order to finalize the approval if that space needs to be removed then we need a drawing without the space in order to actually approve the special permit is that correct
Okay. I have concerns, questions and concerns. As I recall, There's been significant flooding on that site because the wetland and the stream goes under the highway just a little bit, whatever it is, to the right. And the beavers don't seem to like it. I think it's, it gets, things happen there. And we end up with a flood that can't necessarily be gotten rid of real quick. So I'll be interested as to where your elevations are relative to the highest the water can get, which is when the weavers have been doing their work. Signs. We haven't even started on that. I'd suggest that you might want…
Okay, anyway, so I have that question about the third window, and I'm just generally concerned about how well that's gonna work. Yeah. I see. Another thing to look at just down the way from you is Dunkin' Donuts. They had to expand to two lanes, actually two serving locations. Two lanes goes past two separate places, and they still get cars parked on the road. So I want us to be taking really close, careful look at that. I'd like not to produce that situation. Does it make sense that people could leave to the, I don't know, west, to the left, and go up to stop and shop and use the traffic…
I wasn't commenting on it. For Dunkin' Donuts, I had a friend years ago who, I guess he wanted to be able to turn left out of Dunkin' Donuts in the morning. He needed to go south. And it can't happen. You just can't do that. And I finally hinted to him, go out onto the road, go down, go into the back, go into the stop and shop, turn and come to the light, and then you can go south. So anyway, a lot of concern about traffic circulation.
Well, I'm thinking the driveway, roughly there. Right here?
So that's two feet above your 307. Yes. Okay. That's more or less what I'm looking for. We have...
I was thinking, is there a McDonald's of this street? Supposedly, I think the 3,000 square feet is like the small McDonald's. Is there somewhere locally that we have McDonald's of that size range, if there is, pass it on to us. You know, I'd like to drive by and take a look. And the other thing was, in an earlier conversation before tonight, there had been mention of another small building to the left of this possible play space or something. I remember something being, no, maybe we might.
I was reminded when we're looking at the signs, be sure to check our bylaw about the sight line triangles. We've had issues with those. People want to put signs out near the entrance, and that's been challenging sometimes. So that just needs to be part of that.
We get... In this, that, and smaller signs that can get into our site triangle.
