“It's all our property, but I'm trying to say, you know, we could take half of the property to create the pathway, it'd be fine. But the problem is the four that I see, which are in the picture in the top end.”

“Madam Mayor, I have a question. Okay. And I hope I have it clearer when I was reading the ordinance. So it says violations are issued after the vessel has been in North Bay Village waters for 30 days plus. Warnings are issued 14 days after that, and enforcement and fines and matter prescribed begin 10 days later. As I interpret what is presented, it's issuing a warning on day 14. That is 16 days before the violation took place. And you wait 10 days to enforce it, it's still five days before the violation exists.”

“It says here though, 14 days after that, enforcement and fines in the manner prescribed begins 10 days later.”

“I mean, I lost my, I think we're at the whole thing right now, but, you know, basically. So I was questioning, you know, the way that I interpret it, and I'm trying to make sure that I'm interpreting it wrong. If they can be in waters for 30 days and you're issuing the warning 14 days after you've noticed it, let's say on day two, it's been parked there, you're giving them a warning before the violation takes place. You're giving them a warning, hey, a violation will take place. Correct. And if you wait 10 days to enforce it, 10 and 14 is 24. You're allowed 30 days. You're giving it before…”

“You must wait 10 days to enforce it after you issue the warning. That's 14 days for the warning, 10 days for the violation. That's 24 days. You're allowed to be there for 30 days.”

“If you see the bug park there, they want you to give him the warning. Doesn't say you have to wait all 30 days. You just give him a warning after day 14.”
