“The first question is, is Lynn willing to stay another year? That would be the first question. I understood when my conversation with her is that she, in her mind, is continuing from January.”

“But the bigger discussion is how do we take what's in here, a blend, and put it on paper or put it – it needs to be on paper because even if she trained someone and even if this company trained someone, then what happens if they decide next year they want to leave? We hire trainers again?”

“Every department was supposed to have an SOP for their department. Same thing, called something different, different variation.”

“What we're looking to do with pennies, that's what you just brought up. So, this line went to 267.”

“On the next page, we haven't done a town-wide newsletter since before 2020. It's $2,600.”

“If that's what it is. Is that what it is, Pete? The newsletter Mary Cook used to send out, we haven't done one.”

“The reason they started that historically, what I learned is you have to publish your water Um, the water report, so what we do now is we add it as a line in a couple of water bills for a couple of cycles, and we put it on the website. So that's why we've never spent the money on doing the newsletter again.”

“Oh, eGov. I see it. It's for eGov, right? It says eGov seamless docs.”

“So this Civics Plus line, that's more than the website. It has to be because the website is like $8,300. So is this some of your software and Ron's software?”

“So here's the, I looked at our current invoice because our contract runs October to October. So right now we're looking at $8,300. But if we are required, I sent everything to Ron, if we're required to do this ADA module, the reduced rate for this October is $5,100. Then it goes up to 72 every year after. But I'm not sure if we have to do it.”

“So that can definitely... Yeah, I mean, I'll take that out.”

“I'll check with Ron. This website thing needs more clarification. Civics Plus needs more clarification.”

“So it's either, well, we can definitely say it's 8,500, but we could put in the other number. What's that going to make for us, Ron? If we put in the 5,000, That covers us if we have to do it, which would be 13, so we drop it to 14 and it's only 14 more safe.”

“So here's Ron's response. I had the board conference room almost converted testing for teams. I've been kind of hoping to make a January 1 cutover, at least for advisory boards.”

“If you look up here, I want to talk about on page 55. We have a by month. It's just one page before where we were. This Windows 2500. When I did invoices, they were a little higher than that. But at any rate. Are we still getting a cherry picker with Highway so that we don't have to rent it to do banners and stuff?”
Town Board · Oct 8, 2026

“So we could get rid of that line because then we could clean the windows with that, although they don't use a cherry picker. They use a long... Squeegee.”
Town Board · Oct 8, 2026

“Well, right now, we don't use a cherry picker. We just use a stick so it's a company that's doing it right yes oh yeah so we can have that discussion i think for now let's leave it and see what happens and if we order that fort that floor piece i think somebody one of the departments wanted to order a floor waxer thing so there that could come off if we did that we don't need to hire someone to come in and do that i don't know if it's left in the budget i just made a note while we're going”

“We spend a lot in janitorial services throughout the town. Wish we could. I wish we could, like, get rid of that. Like, the police age minimum is $2,600 a year. Golden Age spends $750 a month. That stuff adds up. I don't really know what kind of deep cleaning is happening for that.”

“No, we don't do that anymore. We took that away.”
