“And that was under the prior development agreement.”
“So it would make sense to continue with that figure, but applied to the seven.”
“Of the four that were... removed from the public use under the 2022 approval yes it was only two of them were variable in terms of what they had to pay for right correct so it really should be the in the last development agreement i see what you're saying there were there were two for the driveway and there were two for for the uh”
“That needs to be in the development agreement.”
“Tony, can you do me a favor and move their easel? I hate when they do that.”
“Commissioner Cervone moved to approve with all of the changes that were disagreed to. Commissioner Acosta seconded the motion. Clerk, call the vote.”
“Yeah. The contribution fees need to be paid within 30 days of execution of the vote, right?”
“All right, we have a motion and a second. Let's get a final reading from the attorney of what we're moving and seconding.”
“No, no, just the development, just the money.”
“The 282 is also due within 90 days, is it not?”
“When are we going to know the answer to that?”
“My understanding is that the way that this sort of analysis is required, we kind of know that they're not going to be able to meet it, but I want to speak for the village attorney. Yeah.”
“The mayor of South Miami says to take the night off. He's going to be done before we are.”
“I want to thank the residents for sticking with us and watching this to its conclusion. We're going to take a five-minute break so that everybody can know about and discuss, and then we're going to come back and get our heads in the game for the second half of this meeting. Five minutes.”
“We're gonna go, we're gonna get back to business at 10 p.m. All right, we said that we were gonna take up 11E. 11A. Well, 11A was pulled from the consent agenda by Commissioner Cervone, and now you're saying that you don't... Okay. Okay. Well, this item 11A contemplates, I think, yeah, I think so. This contemplates transferring.”
“Yeah. All right. So let's pull 11A from consent, but let's just keep moving through the regular order of business now that we've taken care of all that stuff. So approval of commission minutes. Do I have a motion? So moved. And a second. Second. Perfect. Is anyone opposed to the minutes? All in favor, say aye. Aye. All opposed, say nay. Okay, the minutes are approved. Do we have any advisory board written reports?”
“No advisory board, okay. Village Commission reports. Who would like to go first?”
“Thanks, Commissioner Darrow. Commissioner Acosta?”
“I just want to share a couple of substantive conversations that I've had with you all. First, not last Friday, but the Friday before, I was able to sit in on a meeting between the village manager, the sort of programming representative from PFL, who we're partnering with on the community center, and Lily and Janice. Janice and Lily? Janice and Lily. So they met to go through the operations agreement of how the community center is going to be run to sort of go item by item and clarify who was responsible for what, just to make sure that the existing relationship is consistent with what is…”
“Heidi, have you received any communication?”
“When you say we do have to amend the operating agreement, what is being amended?”
“Are there going to be any changes to Exhibit C?”
“That's the use of the fields and the courts.”
“Yeah, but it was negotiated that way so that they would have the revenue stream to support their investment.”
“It's just, it's not- No, my understanding is that if it says rent, it means the field is available to be rented, whether it's by North Bay Village or any other organization. The dedicated time for North Bay Village says North Bay Village.”
