It looks like it was a lot of work, a lot of red ink to try and change stuff and make it more streamlined. And let's hope that that helps in the process. And to touch on what Commissioner Havel was talking about a little earlier, Yeah, I think that the regional numbers come down from some other entity, the Bay Area ABAC, excuse me. And so between them and I think our members of the Assembly or Senate, those are the people I think we have to try and twist arms. Except for a…”

“Well, OK. We'll get around to that. If there's no other nominees, then we don't. Any other nominations for chair? No. OK. For the position of vice chair, the floor is open for nominations.”

“Any other nominations for vice chair? Nope. OK. With that, I will declare a white ballot for both positions. Congratulations. All right. That pretty much concludes our business from staff's perspective. Anything coming at us, something that we need to know? When's our next meeting?”

“I want to follow-up on the mobile home. Thank you for bringing that up. So I believe we have four parks in the city. Think maybe it's just three.”

“the three of them, let's just assume that's 200 trailers or 200 homes. Do all 200 of those count as existing base, or do we just blankly say these are naturally occurring affordable places, so they should all count?”

“Yeah, I'll support moving this to the city council. I think it is kind of unfortunate as light a year as it was, but it also reflects I think a lot of the climate that we're facing. It's good to see the ADUs still moving along. That was one of the big thrusts to try and get more stuff in our neighborhoods, get families closer together and what have you, so I think we need to continue to proceed.”

“So first I want to make a comment. I like getting those monthly reports about activity going on in the planning department. I see that San Marin Drive, I think it's San Andreas, there was gonna be a meeting with the neighborhood. Did that go off? Is that something we're gonna see?”

“So although the applicant at the earlier hearing withdrew their request to have fees waived, I'm pretty sure that we had put in the general plan that by way of trying to get more affordable housing, that we were gonna be looking to try and get fee reductions, because at $90,000 a unit, it's pretty insane what it costs fee wise. Have we made any progress, Are those all such special agencies that it's out of”

“Interesting, interesting. Okay, because it does seem fairly unfair as the newer residents come to Nevada. The taxes they pay, whether it's property or otherwise, are so extraordinary compared to the existing residents. I'm not sure that equity is the right word, but there needs to be some kind of leveling of the playing field.”
