  1. “to access care at Planned Parenthood in the same peaceful and uneventful way any of us access health care at any medical provider. So if there's anything that would want to come forward, I think I'd be happy to support it. Last week, I attended the State of the Station address down at the port by Captain, gosh, Whittier. Thank you, Whittier. I knew there was a W in there. And she did a phenomenal job. And as a wife of a Navy veteran, I'm very proud of having Naval Station Everett here in Everett. and the good work that they do to help support not just those who are in active duty, but also…”

  2. “Thank you. I guess when we approved the Move Ahead Washington, or I guess we didn't approve it, but we accepted the money from Move Ahead Washington when we Prefers for Youth accepted that. I guess I had a misunderstanding at that time because I thought the money that we would be getting from Move Ahead Washington would sustain Everett Transit for longer than it has. So it sounds like... I'm hoping for a little bit more clarity on what we received after we adopted free fare for youth. And if that just made the deficit pushed it out that much further in the future instead of having more media.”

  4. “Great, thank you. You answered my two other questions. I have a third, but I'm going to hold on to it until maybe after public comment. But thank you, Rick. You reminded me that Council Member Bader had a question quite a while ago about examples from other cities that have integrated their transit systems and how it's worked or not worked or just like case studies or whatnot. And so it'd be great to, definitely not right now, obviously, but maybe at the next meeting, if there's some other questions”

  5. “The City Council wishes to acknowledge the original inhabitants of this place, the Stahops people, and their successors, the Tulalip tribes. Since time immemorial, they have hunted, fished, gathered on, and taken care of these lands and waters. We respect their sovereignty, their right to self-determination, and honor their sacred spiritual connection with the land and waters. We will strive to be honest about our past mistakes to bring about a future that includes their voices, their people, and their stories for a more just and equitable society.”

  8. “Thank you. So when we do our budget amendments, it's typically a series of different changes to our budget that we're approving all together. So I guess my concern is that the B&O spending plan is then embedded into a larger vote that involves a lot of different changes to our budget. So I'm curious if the spending plan itself could be a separate vote by council for approval. Sure.”

  10. “City Council Chambers, Include more information online for the for the budget amendment, if you click on it through the agenda just shows kind of like a cover sheet and. City Council Chambers, Like a pretty high level overview, but some of those line items, I think, are helpful for explaining more about the itemization of each of the things that we've seen during the presentations and what I know I know susie used to send out. City Council Chambers, The ledgers with like the blue boxes and all sorts of helpful information, but just for transparency sake I.”

  13. “Great. Thank you. Good evening, everybody. Earlier tonight, we had the Parks and Built Environment Committee meeting. The team from the Somerset County PUD joined to share about the transmission line that they're going to be installing from near kind of the Everett Station area all the way up Broadway towards the very tippy top of Everett there. The power poles are going to be about 85 feet tall, but then they're going to jet out about 18 feet from there over Broadway, so they won't impede on any development going along up Broadway. They plan to start construction sometime next year, and…”

  17. “Thank you. So my quick napkin math, which is probably inaccurate, sorry. I was looking through the numbers, and so for paratransit, I'm seeing that the cost for paratransit delivery is about $4,931,687 across 86,249 rides, which comes out to about $57.18 per ride. And then for regular bus service, say math comes out to about $11 per person per trip. And fare box recovery is pretty, pretty small fraction to offset both of that. So I guess it's not necessarily quite a question. I'm open for comments or whatnot. But I just wanted to highlight what a good deal the citizens and residents of…”
