“Yeah, I'd like to make a comment. First of all, I appreciate the speaker's comments, and I would like to ask for the attorney's input on this. It's my understanding that campaigning is not appropriate on any city property or city events, and so if that is happening, I'd like to just kind of clarify it at this time.”

“I'd like an answer now. I mean, is it appropriate to campaign on city property and city events? Yes or no? Or what's – it should be a quick answer. I think the answer is no, but if it's not, then I'm interested to hear why.”

“Vice Mayor Harper, you're up. Thank you. Yeah, so I think we have, you know, it says you want to wait until you have five years of data. I mean, we have five years of data. You could just go back to 2022 and 21, right?”

“Okay. Yeah. So then the other thing that we might look at is looking at a lower SIR, seeing how it affects the premium. So maybe not down to zero, but maybe $500,000 if it would. And, you know, leave it up to you to make that determination and JPIA if it makes sense. Okay.”

“But I just want to also take this opportunity to say congratulations on the risk, winning the risk award. That reflects really well on Fountain Valley of EU and the RIC and the risk management team really done a great job. So congratulations.”

“i think option one's a default unless there's yeah so i i um i i tend to uh agree with option one uh however i think that uh during the olympics there will be a uh a demand and possibly an opportunity for um residents of fountain valley to who property owners that choose to maybe they have i don't know maybe they have uh people visiting from other countries you know and and i think um uh there i think we if we were to do a program i think it should be around the olympics not something like brea where they're doing you know thinking of more of like a permanent program So my thought would be to…”

“Option one for me. Like I said, I'm option one now, but I would consider something around the Olympics.”

“Thank you. Yeah, you know, in my career I've led finance departments, and I know how difficult it is. There's so many moving pieces. You've got to payroll. It's like the mail. It never stops. It's always another pay period that's coming up, and people are putting in hours. you got to get them right and so you've accomplished a number of things which I want to share with the remind people the public of one is we switch to a biennial budget which means we do the budget every two years this is the first year and that's projected to save about 500 hours a year of budget preparation measure HH the…”

“I have a question. So with regards to the funding sources, according to the staff report, the total budget is $4,500,000. And the estimated project cost is $3.7 million, roughly. So it's an $800,000 difference. So does that mean that, and then there's various funds listed, the general fund, Measure HH, RMRA, Measure M, Water Fund, Sewer Fork. So the $800,000 difference, will that come out of the general fund? So it'll end up with the general fund being under budget by the $800,000? About, yeah.”

“Which one? That one. That's good. Okay. So it says you're going to install two additional fiber optic cables in the existing conduit, and the purpose is to provide redundant cables. So I guess my question would be if the purpose is redundancy, wouldn't you want to put it in, like, a different conduit? Because theoretically, like, the reason it would fail is because somebody drills and hits the conduit. So why would you put it in the same conduit if you're redundant?”

“okay it's still I guess I guess it still doesn't I guess I don't quite understand the the it's not a value it's not for it's for a separation of data not for uptime or backup yes okay so it's just a kind of just adding additional capacity exactly or the redundancy okay all right thank you I'd like to move item number 14 first one Ted your turn”
