Yes, thank you. When you're talking about the sales taxes, what categories are short? Are they short just overall in general or are there specific ones that are coming in shorter than others?
Yeah, I'd appreciate it. And then with the lower... with the projected lower revenue for the sales tax, how... How is that affecting the projections for 27 and what are some of the things you're going to be looking at?
That's okay. That's okay. I have just two other questions. On the contractual services, the savings on that, can you speak specifically where those savings are being realized?
That would be great. I appreciate it. And then the final question that I have is on commodities. The savings that you're showing in commodities for the remaining three months projections, You're including in that, I assume, the things that the city would require if during the winter we had a snowstorm, some of the salts and the treatment for the roads and that kind of thing?
OK. I figured there was. I just wanted to just make sure. Thank you so much. I'm done with my questions. Thank you.
Yes, thank you. So I want to speak to the cost of the election, and I share the concern of the cost. I understand that. I also want to say that we spend that much and more being reactive to this situation. It costs that much, if not more, to clear encampments. It costs more For first responder, all the first responders, we have to make contact that way. It costs a whole lot more just overall impact on the community. This is a policy question. Prevention costs less than a crisis response. And that's what we're currently doing. if you're responding in a crisis, we're reactive and prevention…
Thank you. I agree with Councilwoman Hiller. When I think of the city auditor, I think of somebody who's going to look at the operations of the city, the internal controls, any risk management, any evaluating our contracts and whether or not we're needing objectives that we want to meet in ensuring that we're using the taxpayer dollars efficiently and wisely. I also want to note that there are several different qualifications an internal auditor An internal auditor can have a CPA. They can also have a CIA, which is a certified internal auditor, which audits internal controls, risk management,…
I was going to say the same thing about voting. Get out and vote. It doesn't matter who you vote for. Just get out and exercise your right to vote.
Not quoted here: it may name a member of the public. Hear it at the meeting.
Yeah, and I appreciate that you took the time to come and talk with us about this sooner rather than later. I think that makes a difference. Also, as far as water usage goes, and I know that it seems to be a talking point of the data centers that they use less than a golf course and maybe even less than agriculture. The comparison is apples and oranges. I mean, agriculture serves a very different purpose. than a data center. So I don't know. I just wanted to throw that out there. They're very different things with very different impacts.
Right, and it's not the same, you know, the impact on the water system. is not the same. So that's a whole nother discussion. But thank you. Thank you.
Yes, thank you. I just wanted to kind of talk or speak to what Councilwoman Valdivia Ockel was saying. I think, I don't know that necessarily we have to name a program specifically as long as we're doing something that is evidence based in best practices and we have a plan, a strategic plan in place We've identified outcomes and metrics. I think that's, for me, that's the important piece in this. Because it could be called something different later on, but you might still be using the same methodology. I initially wasn't supportive of moving to August, but if that's what we need to do in…
Yes, thank you. Can you speak a little more about the cemetery portion? That was neat of me.
So with that, is there like a maximum size that that can be? I'm just trying to wrap my head around the cemetery going in the middle of that housing area.
With it being an accessory development, does it still have the same type of requirements as a standalone cemetery?
Thank you. I have maybe four questions, five maybe. When you spoke of the program taking a targeted accountable approach, can you talk about that, about what that means?
OK. And when you were talking about the scorecard questions and that there were about six other questions remaining that you still had to get to yes, what were those questions? What are some of those targets?
OK. The tiny home village, when you're talking about, I think it was $4.7 million to build, how many tiny homes are in coverage?
And we say, what is the approximate square footage of those homes? How much would that approximately be to come up with that?
And then if we were able to get the 110th sales tax initiative passed the council to a vote from the public and that approved, if that happened, what would that mean for this program?
And would that help with those remaining six questions that
Thank you. I have a couple of questions on the systems audit. When it talks about systems that are audited regularly, can you define regularly?
Okay. And what does an audit of those systems look like?
Okay, good. And then the next question I have is regarding the LPR retention being reduced to 21 days. How does that data get deleted? Is that a manual process or is that system?
Curious, does anybody ever go check? That it's actually deleted after 21 days?
