“NEW SPEAKER YEAH, LOVE IT. LOVE THAT ALL THE ABOUT US STUFF IS ON THE FRONT AND THEN OUR PRIORITIES ON THE BACK. AND I THINK I LIKE THOSE SUBTITLES UNDER EACH OF THE PRIORITIES. I THINK THAT'S WONDERFUL. I think it's great. Very easy to read.”

“I don't know. The last time we just went through the bullets one at a time and everyone was like, yes, this is my feedback. It's all good. So it just seemed like a good format to cover it unless we're just supposed to stamp it and move on. And that's fine too.”

“You had a question on a transportation. Is there any value? In any of those five bullets. Maybe under the fourth bullet. No, that's not the one. Under the third bullet, saying something about federal funding. Is there any, would that be a trigger word to put in the word federal somewhere so that someone reading it would know that it's on our mind to go past Jeff City this year? Funding priority projects with federal partnerships, including I-470 and Third Street Just the word, just the word at all. Is there a way to insert that or is there value to that?”

“Thank you. And then can you help with, I'm having trouble with proportions, the church, between the church over a couple blocks over. The size of the church, I'm looking at the brown, well, wait, I can't tell what they are. Are those buildings the same size as the store, or is the store going to be smaller or larger?”

“Okay. And then I, and then my last question is regarding maybe for you or maybe anyone in development in, in terms of C stores on, on that end of town, are there proportion? Are there enough over there for all the like capacity wise? Like, is there enough proportion C suite C stores per, Homes on that end of town. Is there any way to gauge? You know ratio of C store to residents are there too many or not enough or what?”

“What about compared to the rest of the areas around Lee Summit? Are there other areas that are super compact? I mean, is this a weird placement for another C-Store, or is it how the rest of Lee Summit is?”

“Thank you, Mayor. I'm sorry, I tend to agree with the master planning environment on the east side of town because legacy is so void of things like this. And I don't think the proximity to the homes is necessarily an issue because all the other churches and things are home. But it seems like the volume of traffic is what is so disruptive to this environment. And I think that there are many great places that we could use a store like this on that end of town. There's so many kids coming out of the parks and games all days of the week. I mean, there should be a lot of really good opportunities…”

“So thank you for a chance to speak There's been a lot of times this season that people haven't been able to speak So thank you for being generous with letting people have a minute to speak. I'm in very in favor of a task force I think there's a lot of things to dig through because we have 18 months until the next term begins Even though this cycle began Before the last term, citing the term change as a barrier, we blew past that term and here we are again with that same barrier. We have 18 months to work to fill the gap until our next decision is made. I do not believe that we are all in…”

“Thanks for the presentation and thanks for putting this together. I'm very interested in having this program go forward and having the analysis. I don't know if it's already built in here. It may be your intention that it's built in here, but my biggest concern is education as 90% of the whole thing. Educating not only the members who are assessing it, but later educating all of us about the status of past projects that have had incentives. And I've talked about this many times individually with many staff members. We've talked about it ad nauseum. And I love the charts that we already have…”

“I WANT TO CIRCLE BACK AND CLARIFY WHEN I TALK ABOUT EDUCATION THAT WE HAVE TWO VERY DIFFERENT BUCKETS OF EDUCATION. ONE BUCKET IS EDUCATING ABOUT THE GLOSSARY OF TERMS AND HOW EACH OF THE THINGS WORKS. AND I THINK THAT THAT'S SOMETHING THAT COULD BE HAPPENING WITH OR WITHOUT A COMMITTEE. AND THE SECOND BUCKET OF EDUCATION IS ON OUR SPECIFIC PROJECTS IN THE PAST AND MAYBE EVEN what they do or don't have in common with other failed projects in the region, as an example, like really educating and understanding how our projects have been structured. So two buckets of education, like just one is…”
