If you, are you in here? Are you on the online meeting? Come on, press the next button. Oh, not yet. Once you get in, I can let you in.
Here you go. My wife was in Lake City and they saw 20 moose.
Oh, that's wow. That's actually really encouraging.
North American hippos. Long legs. It looks like we can see everything.
that so what I'm hearing is that the whole property of the mall where it sits will be it would if this was moving forward would leave the current ownership's hands and go to the developer so that developer would own 100 of that whole lot yes all right because then that would change some of my discussion so I'm good with that and can I clarify time spring too so what you are asking is essentially our
Okay. The question I have for Jeff is, with the current state of the county, which we're doing well, I mean, I'm concerned about the staffing
And there's a time constraint due to the current property owners putting this on a six-month timeline.
Thank you. Bonnie, if you could please just come up here. And since we have them here, I would prefer, I would rather have you, let's have you, whatever question you may have, I'd rather have you ask it now. So that's something that we can discuss in the future.
Yes. I'm going to please answer that. But what we need to do, commissioners and staff and treasurer, we can compile some questions. We will end them here soon. They can then answer that to all of us. And then further discussions.
And so we have to, we have two, we have two individuals waiting for us to get up here next, but what we need to do commissioners as well as treasurer is we can formulate some questions. Like I absolutely, like I will have questions too as well, because it's, we, yeah, the city of Durango land use code. make sure there is accessibility for that lot. But let's have those conversations here soon. So commissioners, it sounds like a Jeff, this is something that you're willing to take on interest in being able to do it and you have the time. Correct. All right.
All right. Next up here, commissioners, do you need like a quick two minutes? Very good.
All right. So the next up here is a lot of economic development alliance, return on investments, and the budget. Have a good day, everyone.
Over by where currently BEEP is. It's behind BEEP.
North. It's on the south side. It's on the edge of town.
A bunch of kids there. It's a great location.
We'll be monthly... cost for families change at all with this development? Will it increase?
Thank you. We have a future quarterly meeting with the tribe, and so this is maybe a potential opportunity for a very, very, very high-level discussion with them.
Well, I think the key difference is that, one, the alliance is leading, and two, it's different from the LaPosta discussions in the past because we're also making sure, via the alliance, having the Southern New Indian tribe at the table for these pre-discussions, pre-talks, so that we can all financially or physically be bought into this type of development.
Sarah, I'm going to have to push you here. So if we can jump on to the alliance item and then we can.
Perfect. Thank you. Commissioners questions.
Well, Sarah, thank you very much. We were actually just for, for information today, we're starting our budget process. And so we're going to have a very high level, big picture, and then we'll be getting into future tis the season. So we'll, we'll, we'll, we've gotten your letter. We have it in our packets, the ask. And that's something that we will have that future discussion.
Thank you. I just need a quick break in transition. Just a quick coffee. Yep. Just yeah, two, two, three minute break and then we'll reach.
We don't. Well, just so you're not hanging around for a while.
And I got your email. I disregarded the other email. And then I'll just tell them what to do later on.
When I first became commissioner, I was... wanted to get information, get it out. Yeah. Oh, wait, shoot, we still have to review it. Of course.
