  1. Okay, so I did want to make sure that, first of all, thank you for the presentation of that. I did want to make sure that everyone understood that the resident lived experience seat would be a lottery. And we can go into the details of what that lottery looks like if you need to go into that. But just so everybody knows, that's actually a lottery, and it wouldn't be named. The names would be redacted with numbers instead. It would be correlated with the staff.

  2. Yes. So I appreciate everybody's conversation and the feedback, and that's what we want. We want the conversation dealing with affordability. And when you're talking about affordability, we're not talking about the big things such as, you know, gas prices and all that. We understand that. But we are talking about things such as fees, and we're talking about processes and efficiencies, duplications. All that costs is money that actually increases what comes on to the residents and businesses of what you pay for the different things that you may have, including housing, but not just housing.…

  3. So, Jane, I appreciate your comment. And it's unfortunate that you would see this as a campaign piece when we're talking about people's affordability and how they're living. I've been dealing with affordability and affordability of housing and over that for not only the last four years and how I've been fighting for affordable housing, workforce housing, and all the other pieces. But even before I got on this diocese, I've been dealing with affordability, even at the CSUMB and other things, doing the community, other boards, where I have to give my time in volunteering. And so for you to even…

  4. I just wanted to answer your question, Ed. You're absolutely right. The youth are already in it by the student piece. And the elders are always in it. I'm always about the elderly as well. But that can come through the residents. That's why when Gino said about four, one from each district, an elderly person can be one of those people as well. So it's not leaving out anybody. We want every voice there because you're right, everybody experiences affordability issues. And also as far as the real estate and property management, not that I'm a property manager, but I have real estate background.…

  6. came up were really interesting, and so thank you and your staff. I know the Director of Finance and everybody else who have been working really hard. It does make a difference, and I think you've kind of set up an approach and a perspective and structure for how you're going about, so thank you so much.

  7. So I wanted to kind of come back with the League of City vote. I actually... sent this out online with Instagram about three weeks ago when everything happened. But this was dealing with local controls. And so local controls was really huge because of the fact that it was dealing with opposition to dealing with the city's ability to plan their own communities with land use and zoning uses. And so it actually passed overwhelmingly three weeks ago. So that resolution that was drawn up by the city of Marietta will be going to the board now because it has passed as a resolution as one of the…
