“I'll just say thank you to everyone. I think AWC does a wonderful job in the 281 towns and cities in our state with everything they do in representing us, so I appreciate that. Thank you. Thank you, and congratulations, Jim. Well done.”

“Yes, Council Member Mulvara. Would that be the whole Section 34, just the KID portion of that?”

“Thank you, Mayor. You know, it's not on the high priority, but I understand what you're saying. I hate to see, once we have a green space go away, we lose it forever. But I don't have a problem with proceeding, and especially having a public hearing on it to find out what the public believes. But still, at that point, if I understand it, we can still say no, we're not doing it. Is that correct? That is correct. Thank you.”

“Thank you. Yes. Council Member Millar. Thank you, Mayor. We're running this. You're looking for a consensus or a vote on one of those three. I would assume the other two jurisdictions, cities, are doing the same thing.”

“So... if we say we're going to go with the animal control facility here the other two jurisdictions pick one picks the animal shelter one picks the hybrid are we looking for consensus from all three cities too because if that's the case i think we ought to go with a different format to do this because we're not going to get through it the other thing would be uh as councilman anderson said this is probably an emotional subject financially speaking we got to deal with it because budget-wise i don't know how we will What are we doing by whether we pick one of these three options or not? I mean,…”

“I'll make up for that, but try and keep it brief. I attended the waste management virtual tour for recycling, a lot of changes. It was actually very interesting. I don't know who else attended it. It was interesting to see how the recycling's changing and the way it's gonna go forward. Also attended a recovery court on August 19th for the graduation of three individuals. came down with the wife to national night out really enjoyed it warm as usual but that's okay it was a good turnout by everyone and i think staff and everyone did a fantastic job so thank you for that let's see regional…”

“I may apologize. I left off one thing. Okay, go ahead. I did attend a Visit Tri-Cities, and I wanted to bring up the Ironman September 20th. If there are a need of volunteers, you can go to the webpage, Visit Tri-Cities webpage, and sign up for the different positions they need. They are having, on the Friday night before, it's called Party at the Point. It's a kickoff party. It's from 5 to 8, and it's open to the public, no cars, no charge. So if you're interested in something like that, And then the Iron Kids race is Saturday for under 17 years of age, 9 a.m. Registration is before that.…”

“Thank you. Council Member Bilbao. Thank you, Mayor. A little over a week ago, I attended the ribbon-cutting for Luton Services. They now are in the old Amazon warehouse, I think it was, and beautifully remodeled and very large. So I look forward to them continuing their services in our area. I also attended the active KPD shooter training that took place in the convention center this year. So I applaud all those that put that together and those that participated. It was well done. And I thought it was a good choice to have it there to be as real as it can get. So with that, that's all I have.…”

“Good evening, everyone. Last week I attended the Glow Crazy Party at Numerica Pavilion. I had the opportunity with my daughter and her two young, my two young granddaughters, her daughters. I enjoyed it very much. It was well attended. It was very well organized. They had a ball. It was just great to see all the kids. I just want to thank staff, Numerica, Parks and Rec, the commission over there working at it. It was very well. Thank you for that. Also, yesterday I attended the AWC Large City Advisory Committee. We had discussions on AWC's 2027 legislative agenda dealing with public works,…”

“Yeah, please. Thank you. In regards to the fireworks, we are receiving, at least I am receiving, several emails from citizens on the fireworks. I just wanted to say that the next workshop is going to be updated on Independence Day after Action Report, and that's where I'm replying back to let them know if they want to come down and talk about the fireworks and the way they feel about them, for you all to know and those on That's the wrong thing, isn't it? Yeah, I was going to say, we don't normally have a public comment period at the workshop. I understand that. But to come down and hear the…”
