“It was, I think, to be discussed. To be discussed. So that was my two-parter. So with that said, do you want to, I don't know if you have any more comment on that?”

“I actually am concerned with the location of where it was proposed. It is up against a fence, which is in front of. So for me, if anyone's sitting there to just look at the water, you know, just sitting there, the word is going to be blinding the view. But you mentioned if anyone's climbing on it, they're at the edge of the fence. So let's just say hypothetically a kid climbed on the ladder and fell backward. They'd be falling literally.”

“Yeah, I just, I don't know if I'm, so basically what I'm saying is I don't, I'm not 100% on the location. I have the problem accepting it, but I think there might be another opportunity to place it somewhere else.”

“Thank you, Mayor. Actually, I wanted to pull this item too, so you beat me to it. That was a concern, but another concern that I had was, yes, the design looked beautiful. I thought it was very, very easy on the eye with the sculpture and, of course, the canine. My only concern is I didn't feel it was as inclusive as I would have liked it to have been. Per the rendering or the sketch, it was two males and the canine for police and fire. And I think we've come very far from the stereotype of police and fire just being men. So I think if we were to move forward with this, by all means, great.…”
