“I love our transportation projects when they work out, and they help us money-wise. It makes our city better. It's nice for the citizens. It's just, as Tom Moore said, it's a big win.”

“Hi, Neela. Thank you. So I really appreciate Encompass and your program and you stated 60 years, which is a really long time, but I would like to plug it because My daughters are in their 30s now, and they started Encompass in North Bend in around 1999, I want to say. And they are successful in all the data that you said. It's true in my case. But also you got my eldest daughter, her first boyfriend at Encompass when she was four. Oh, okay. Are they married now? No, they're not. No, they're not. But that's where her boyfriend life started. But anyways, thank you. Thank you.”

“I think I have two questions. The first one is, can this website wait until we have a hotel, the project belay is up, the middle fork is in process? Can it wait until we potentially get this new employee? And the second question is, can our IT department or the intern that we have in the summer run this until that time?”

“So who is currently running our North Bend City website? And to add to that, could we not work together with the Downtown Foundation has a website, the Chamber of Commerce has a website, the City of North Bend has a website. Now we have Adventure North Bend website. There's a lot of competing websites that I'm wondering if they could be together.”

“this person were to quit, what would you do then? You'd be without them for a time and you would have to rehire. So I see this situation as sort of, I mean, I don't want this person to quit and I want them to have their time off. I'm just wondering other alternatives to hiring temporary staff.”

“Oh, Heather. I don't know if I'm going to word this question right. But is there a way in the future that we could be proactive on what environmental needs or cultural land needs would we might be looking at before they afterwards? Could we be ahead of it? That's what I'm trying to ask.”

“Completely different track. I have noticed this month, particularly a lot of more of our wildlife wandering around our town and in our streets. And I would just like everybody to be aware and be cautious of bears, deer, elk, even the coyotes. I think they're whelping or whatever they call that, but just be aware and try not to run over any wildlife and let them have their space. That is it. Thank you. Thank you. Mayor Pro Tem Tramolata.”

“So I'm very distracted by the elk herd. But I do have something to say. It's not prepared, though. I am thinking of the people in Spokane. My mother lives there. I was very worried about her on Sunday. I didn't know about the fire until Sunday as I work weekends. My sister beat me to that. My mom is fine. But I would like to say for the people that evacuated and all the people that helped them evacuated, they did that very timely, a large amount of people. They evacuated a whole veteran hospital, which is amazing. And you can always do better and look back. So I think Sandy for bringing up…”
