few months a few I guess at the last meeting I think I mentioned it and there seemed to be some some support at least I got some support from my fellow trustees after the meeting so I don't know if we wanted to have further discussion but I would like to see it on our agenda or the October 17th meeting
Oh, I'm sorry. The date would be Wednesday, October 21st. There's a possibility. I know that there was some interest in having it early, like around 6 o'clock or maybe 5 o'clock. I know that there is the possibility of
May I? Yes, Vice President. So I appreciate everything that you have to say, Trustee Muhammad. I would like to add that, so the agenda is still a work in progress, but just based on speaking with other trustees, and I know we did have a robust conversation during our governance committee meeting, what I'm envisioning is sort of preparing for, let's say you're preparing to have, you're welcoming guests. You try to prepare you make preparations right when someone is coming to visit just to make sure that you have everything in order correct so I see this as an effort for us to show that we that…
I don't think I was. I was not. We invited. I sat out. Actually, I sat at the table like I was in the audience. I wasn't at the table.
No, I was there. I was there, so I know I was sitting at.
Yeah thank you trustee Wilkins yeah as you know it's extremely difficult to try to nail down a date that works for all of us and you hit the nail on the Head I believe that this whatever we want to call it but it is involving transition pre-transition planning it's an opportunity for us to capture a lot of knowledge from some seasoned trustees who have served on this board for a while I know trustee basket has served for a while I know that trustee Schmidt has prior to serving on this board she served on a board in was it lansing or east lansing I know Trustee, you've been on here for four…

But so there's no reset room or safe space at Skyline?
Okay. Okay, just one other question. Is there an effort to try to work on getting one at Skyline?
Okay, and I noticed that the card that you referenced, the CARES Salas card, which I think is wonderful, I noticed it's in a different language on the back. Yes. So are most of our communications and resources related to this whole mental health topic, are most of these communications available in other languages? Yes.
Just real quick, for the record, wasn't today student count day?
Will there be a count day in the spring or not? There will be one in the spring. This is so confusing.
Mention the dates again and the times of the school. Okay, so let's start over.
I'm not sure I'm on that committee, but if I've been placed on it, that's fine.
I have been helping, so I guess I am on the committee. Yes, you are.
We acknowledge that the Ann Arbor Public School District occupies the ancestral, traditional, and contemporary lands of the Anishinaabek Three Fires Confederacy, the Ottawa, Ojibwe, and Botawatomi. The taking of this land was formalized in a process alien to Native cultures by the Treaty of Detroit in 1807. The Ann Arbor Public Schools recognizes that many other Native peoples lived on this land at different times, including the Fox, Saw, Shawnee, Kickapoo, Miami, Muscatoon, and Cherokee, many of whom were forcibly removed from their homelands. Acknowledgement by itself is a small gesture and…

I just wanted to say that I'm really mostly comments. I just want to say I'm really happy to see that the safety town on the go is being expanded. I think that's whoever came up with that idea, that was brilliant. I remember safety town from back in the day, and I'm just glad that it's going to be more available to folks on the go, which is wonderful so that more children will be able to participate. So that's great. I also wanted to say that I appreciate the fact that the fee waivers are available to our families. I think that that's very important. I'm so glad that we're able to to continue…

Yeah, I would just like to add that additional trustees took part in community conversations over the summer. There were three, to be exact. These robust conversations were held throughout the community, including at Peace Neighborhood, Traverwood Library, and Pittsfield Library. And I do believe that our intent is to try to have more of these conversations I just think it's really important for us to get out, not only in our school buildings. I know someone alluded to that in public comment earlier, to get out into our buildings. Someone said ice cream socials, you name it. But just having a…
