“Mr. Chairman, do we need to get a little description of that? Are we good?”

“Yeah, if you don't mind, just real quick. The special lighting tax districts are those areas in certain areas like, say, Dunnian and areas like that that do not have an HOA. But they do have, they petitioned the county to pay their light bills, and they paid a percentage of their millage for that light service. So what it done, the power rates went up, so we don't want the county to carry it. to accrue a negative balance, so that millage had to be increased. And those citizens are aware of that, and they did approve. Thank you, Mr. Chairman.”

“Thank you, Mr. Chairman. This past week we've had a public safety meeting, and we had the sheriff come in and gave a presentation, informative only, on the acquisition, use, and operation of flock cameras within the county sheriff's department. And it was very informative. Like I said, it was information only. There was no action required. And just to update, the CAD system was... was had a little tuning up the other day and it's back up and it's great and I'll tell you it's the best thing since sliced bread.”
