“Item 348.26, install 105 feet of underground conduit on Andover Street near Blanchard Street. It was sent to the full council to order a public hearing. And I make that as a formal motion.”
“Aye. I don't three fifty to twenty six wedding on Reservoir Park on Saturday September 5th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.”
“Yeah, they did mention about the speaker for the people that was going to do the ceremony and the piano for the introductory music, not that they will have a party or a reception. We did specify if they bring anything to the park, they have to dispose it and leave it clean.”
“They did specify in the application about a maximum of 50 people to the wedding.”
“Yes. That was what it was, this councilor.”
“Well, I guess if we allow the baby showers, what would be the difference of the wedding, right? Yeah.”
“Motion to untable item to 7526. Proposed ordinance, the name change for ordinance 02.48 to the Office of Human Resources and Labor Relations. And I make that as a formal motion.”
“Motion to withdraw item 275.26. Discussion?”
“Motion to untable item 27626 creation of proposal ordinance 02-48.050, Deputy Director of Human Resources and Labor Relations.”
“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
“Through you, Chair. Do you have any, are you planning to do any music?”
“Are you directing this to a specific institutions or you're calling out for public?”
“Thank you for the presentation. It was good to know that we are taking, you know, the first steps to address one of the conditions that is actually affecting all the neighborhoods in the city of Florence. I will appreciate that for next meeting I get the calendar invite so we can, you know, be part of it. And I have to agree with my colleague, Councillor De Rosario, I noticed that in the map, at least in my district, there are other streets that needs to be included. We are the one that get the calls on a daily basis. Like for instance, I know that Ferry Street is, I didn't see anything on…”
“So what is the motion to send to see the attorney and lawrence police department.”
“Obviously, you already know the outcome. Without the one that we just discussed?”
“Yes. As Councillor De Rosario was referring to 138.26. Yeah. It came to my mind that we also have a project on converting Amesbury Street on a two-way. Mm-hmm. So that street is gonna, I mean, that side of the street, I don't think it's gonna be feasible for parking. Right. But I will have, I mean, I will, you know, defer to the engineering department as well, but we know that Amesbury Street will be basically no parking because of the two-way traffic that is coming through, or that will be coming through.”
“Through you, Chair. If we want to, I mean, all the handicap requests.”
“Discussion through you. Just to make sure.”
“Just to make sure that retail sales is for.”
“Okay, so they're looking for a permit so they can do some sales on the sidewalk and stuff? On the sidewalk. Okay.”
“I saw that Councilor Reyes was trying to talk.”
“Through you, Chair. Councillor Miguel. Yes. Since our next meeting is on August 5th, is it safe to send it to the full council or do we have to wait for the report from the city attorney?”
“What should they. I don't for an answer and is that a table second.”
“Given the recent advice from the Lawrence Police Department, I have items from May 5th that were referred to the police department that should be forward to the DPW. So I would like to send this item instead of the Lawrence Police Department, send it to Lawrence Police, to the Department of Public Works. That will be item 194-26 and 198-26. And I will also add our colleague Gregory Del Rosario who had an item 199-26 to be sent to DPW as well. Second.”
