“The issue of the crime lab, I'm going to vote in favor of it. I am troubled. about the leadership we have over the last many years at the crime lab. I don't like just going to support a docket for funding when I know there's outstanding issues in a particular department. We have outstanding issues at the Boston Police Department crime lab. I do want to ask all my city council colleagues to be there. The Blackstone hasn't had a pool in the longest period of time. We're trying to get an independent study engineering studies so we can hopefully fix the pool. But I really need all my city councilors present tomorrow, engaged, asking questions, supporting the Blackstone School. This is about providing residents of the south end in Roxbury with the opportunity…”
