Thank you, Madam Chairman. Seeing that Oracle has had many problems that we've all witnessed and many people have complained about, Speak to me about how we can get those problems solved before moving forward with paying more money for this system.
Thank you. I would like to see a report that talks about the level of satisfaction overall with Oracle. By next week.
Thank you so much. So my recommendation is that when you come to committee, Please have a presentation to address, number one, all of the issues that you had and how you have corrected them. And number two, all of the good things that we have not seen. Because right now, we're basically inundated with complaints. So this is your opportunity to show us all of the great things about Oracle and then also be able to promise us what will be cleared away prior to us having to make this investment. We need to know that all of the bugs will be taken care of prior to this investment.
Yes, it came down with favorable recommendations.
Madam Chairman, I move to defer this resolution until November the 18th so that we can allow for a community meeting with relevant experts to strengthen this resolution.
Yes, I just want to point out I believe in transparency on both ends. And one thing that nobody has really spoken about is the $270,000 that the school board will have to pay for at least four years, which results in over a million dollars over that time that will be taxpayer money. nor have we talked about the mentioning of the MOU for over a million dollars for a consultant's fee that they have discussed but they have not yet agreed upon. So I'm not saying that to say that anyone is bad or anyone is good. But like earlier the finance person says, the numbers don't lie. And so when I did my…
Yes, this comes down with a favorable recommendation.
Thank you so much. First of all, thank you so much for your responses to our questions from our committee meeting. However, I did have one ask that I don't think was addressed in your written response, which was for you to look at and report fees for surrounding and competing areas such as Arkansas and Mississippi.
Thank you so much. And I believe that was your response during the committee meeting, but I think we still asked for, we were wanting to know what those numbers are. So are you able to get those numbers?
Thank you so much. Director, since we are having to move so quickly on this decision, I have one ask of you is that after the first 30 days, you could come back to the commission with a written report indicating how things are going in general so that we can understand and jump on top of any issues that may come up immediately.
Thank you so much. And this question is for the entire team. Was there any consideration given to kind of sectioning out this contract like for making it different for juveniles and for adults or taking out the behavioral health part in order to attract more qualified bidders in this process?
Can you further explain why you believe that, that only one, having one supplier would make it better?
Is there any chance that you may consider that in the future or even for this contract since there was such a small number of qualified bidders? Yes. Thank you so much. I appreciate you.
Thank you. So individual citizens are not able to purchase any of this. It would have to be a builder or some type of company.
So how will they be notified of this program and their ability to acquire these lots?
So how are we able to hear that information, like more about that? Because we just talked earlier about social media not being enough. to really inform the community about opportunities. So, because that really, it sounds like a great program, but only if everybody gets a chance to really benefit from it and understand what they need to do in order to participate in it. Thank you.
Great. I'd love to hear about it whenever it happens. So if you can send us that information, that'd be great. Thank you.
