“Comments have been online about HopeWorks. It's our new program. As you should know, that street team at the end of the year dissolved. So we have transferred everything over to Gothel Mission and funding them through HopeWorks. They're doing a great job. They have 48 individuals enrolled. in the Hope Works. They have picked up over 64,000 pounds of trash since January, keeping Modesto clean. Ten individuals have secured full-time employment. So not only is it giving them a option to work but it's helping them get full-time appointment at other areas and seven of those individuals have…”

“As a person that loves to cook, I love using all your different types of olive oil. It really adds to the flavor, especially when I do spaghetti. You've got some great sauces over there that you carry, which I use all the time. And I think you guys are doing a great job. Thanks for being in our community.”

“Thank you, Mayor. I had the privilege a week ago last Saturday going by Forest Creek Park and saw hundreds of children out there on the new water features, the swimming pools. It was amazing to see the laughter and the joy that was going on out there. So many people have been by there to see what's going on. It's one of the jewels here in Modesto. I told the city manager we need a couple more of those throughout the city. He told me to find the money, so we'll have to start looking for the money. And also it's nice, we have 15 lifeguards on duty. So there's a lot of safety out there for the…”

“Thank you, Mayor. I, too, wanted to just thank everybody who came out to National Night Out in my district. And there was, I think we had 10 different parties going on, and I wasn't able to get to all of them. But it was a great night. Weather was actually cooler than I thought it was going to be, which was nice for all of us. One of the things I want to talk a little bit about tonight is all the residents that came out speaking about data centers. It's always been my priority to protect their residents here in Modesto, our quality of life, our environment and our water, and we do what's best…”

“Thank you, Mayor. I think one of the best things I like about national life, that was the food. So, you know, District 6, we have some great barbecuers out there, and I just wish that we would maybe do it three or four times a year and give me a chance to eat all the food at all the different stops. But anyway, looking forward to it, and I thank you to thank staff and police department and crime stoppers and everyone that participates that makes this really a great event.”
