“He's just checking the time on there for a second.”
“Yes, the time is running though. Perfect, okay. I'll switch over.”
“Thank you. Thank you. Okay. Next, Madam Clerk.”
“Okay? Thank you very much. Thank you, Melissa Sue.”
“It got some traction right away within the city. We appreciated meetings with city staff.”

“Thanks. Thanks for taking the time. Yes.”
“Is that it? Thank you, Madam Clerk. Thank you all who took the time to be here and present. Okay. We're now ready for the council to decide on adoption of the agenda. So moved. All in favor?”
“Second. All in favor? Aye. No proposed amendments since I heard ayes from everyone, right? Okay. Here we go. Communications, we have some enthusiastic young people here. So do we want to go ahead and do an action item first, Clay, or what would you like to do? Well, why don't we do that, and then let me ask Dad, is that what you want here as far as for your dear wife? Okay, let's do that first. I'm going to allow a change in agenda, and so we're going to go ahead and do an action item, and let me read it here when I get to it. This is appointment of Senior Director of Public Works, effective…”
“Yes, we do. So, Clay, you want to come up here and... I am getting all kinds of koodles for this appointment, and anyone that actually was born two years ago would have figured this out. So anyway, go ahead.”
“It's still on it. Okay, we're not going to allow the third. Okay. Okay, no discussion, I assume. So let's go ahead and do roll call first.”
“Okay, and Crystal, just name these three kids, and I think they're in favor also. Except they want you home more, maybe, but... Just take time to tell them a little bit about your family and these three wonderful children. In my little over three months of being here, I knew, of course, Crystal somewhat when I served on council. But I think there's actually really three Crystals, and they just don't show up at the same time. It's amazing what she gets done, not only here, but at home and in the community. So go ahead and give their names. Thank you.”
“Okay, we put them through enough. But anyway, congratulations. And the city and our citizens are blessed. Tom is, I tell you, we couldn't have... A better director. I know he's going to go out and do some wonderful things there in the community with consulting and so on. But I tell you, I'm so blessed to have somebody internal right here ready to step in. And they'll be working together closely here the next few months.”
“I just want all you to know that Councilman Reynolds thinks there's a whole bunch more back there, so he's not going unfed tonight.”
“Thank you, Councilman. Yeah, get one for Dad, too. Okay. Here we go. We're ready for... Now we're back... Now we're back to further communications. Jay, I'm surprised you didn't take over there as far as you said. Okay.”
“Robin, by the way, we have a lot of rock stars, but this has been a real super rock star. Will you have your family stand and just introduce them? I know maybe this happened when you first started, but I don't know. I wasn't around.”
“Anyway, just God bless you, young lady. And family, I know you're all a part of this too, and I know she's going to do wonderful things. And Nampa's just been blessed to have her as long as we have. So, thanks.”
“Oh, pitcher. Yes. You have family. Come on up too. Yeah, we got to wear out Amy's camera tonight as much as we can. Everyone here? Matt, this is all front page stuff, right? Not your call? Okay. Oh, that's sweet. Okay. Thanks a lot. Clay, you're not done yet, buddy.”
“Do you want Amy taking a photo here at you? Okay, come on up, everyone. By the way, I know he's going to introduce his family. I've known Steve for several, several years. He's not a bit competitive. So what he just stated, I believe is going to happen. By the way, he's got four boys here, right? All of them are here. I can't see one. Oh, there he is. Steve's actually the point guard on the basketball team, and these others are going to grow up.”
“And you're proud, I know, of your dad, but also your mom. Pretty great parents, aren't they? Okay, we're going to get a photo taken. Do you have more packages for these kids, too? Oh, yeah.”
“Hey, guys, meet this councilman by this door. Go around the corner and meet him real quick. He's going to be Santa tonight. So sweet.”
“Oh, man, no. Oh, gracious. We are blessed. Thank you. Pleasure to meet you.”
“Already. Okay, more communications. Did you make these, by the way?”
“555 at this point. They're going to pull it, but just discuss it.”
“Okay, but we're going to do that in order. All right. We lost two. We'll wait just a minute here. We'll put out an all points bulletin if they're not back here in a minute. Crystal, thank you for coming up.”
